Bought some cookware from Aldi today. Really good prices. The pie dish comes with a funnel and pie weights for only $6.99. All in my favourite colour Red  :D

Also couldn't resist stopping in and browsing the cookbook section at the op-shop.

Got this great baking folder for 50c - looks like a 90's collect a recipe every week for the rest of your life type folder. Have looked through it and found at least 18 recipes I want to try so far. As an added bonus at the back of the folder was a Mary Berry favourite cakes book.  :D

I don't feel good about only paying 50c for the folder of at least 300 recipes, all beautiful full page colour recipes, every recipe is pictured and the Mary Berry cake book.

I will get together a few boxes of things and donate them back to the store. Usually I just give them all the gold coins in my purse for whatever I buy. Don't know what came over me today.  ???

I saw the cookbooks too Kim, although got 2 of them at Coles for $5 each last year. I hope the cast iron cook wear holds up?

It didn't cost a fortune - will let you know how it fares.
