Popped out to the Central Markets at lunchtime to buy just 2 things, and have just staggered back in with arms full .......... bulk garlic, chillies, lemon-infused olive oil, several different cheeses, dried mushrooms, honey-roasted macadamias, a couple of asian sauces, quinoa, 00 flour for pasta making ......... nothing like impulse shopping.  And now my office stinks of garlic for the afternoon  :D :D

Oh, and I forgot the very smelly salami (but very tasty) - I think that is what is stinking out my office.

That's great to hear Emme.  I bought it without really researching too much.

Easy to do Karen. I love that I'm close enough to walk to the Central Market at lunch time too. I went yesterday actually. I'm mindful not to buy too much though when I go, as I have to walk the 25 minutes to the train after work. I only buy what I can carry easily.

I used to work in Wright St, so did most of the shopping at the market and I absolutely loved it. Pity our office moved. :(
Now I go to the showgrounds market on Sundays   It's completely different, but I love it too
