I feel so old fashioned. I love reading in the bath with a glass of wine.
I love turning pages too.

Love it mcmich but ........with a Kindle Touch you can hold it in  one hand turning the pages and with the other hand you can hold your glass. Lol!

Maddy.  I love the look of the Coffee book.  Can't resist anything with coffee in it, so will be interested in hearing what it's like.  I'm trying very hard to resist...... :D

Oooh, so I can take the kindle in the bath?
My mags and books end up a little steam damaged.
If I could read it in the bath tub I may be interested.

I even take my iPad  and rest it on the side of the bath while making voice memos. I also take the Kindle into the pool as it is so lite.

Well, I have seen the "future" and am suitably impressed.

The new iPad 3 is, in a word, spectacular.  I got to see it alongside an iPad 2 so the displays could be compared.  The "retinal display" is much sharper and the colored areas have clear edges and even looking very close, you can't see the pixels.  There are no "sawtooth" edges on moderately magnified images.  You have to push the magnification way up to see it.

The video is amazing even indoors and except for some "bleeding" when the iPad is moved too rapidly, the definition and focus is as good as one would expect with a mid-level digital camcorder.

Do I want one?  Yes!  Am I going to get one right away?  No.  My friend suggested I wait until May, when Apple often rolls out new upgrades and functions to hardware and often offers extras, such as apps and etc.  Of course, if they come out with a newer model next March, I will have only had 10 months use of the "3" but my friend doesn't think the next generation is going to be as big a jump as this one.

Since the demand for the iPad 3 increased exponentially after the intro last week, the local news just had the notice that Apple has pushed the shipping date for the new iPad back three weeks.
Apple stores will not have very many for display because of the huge advance sales and apparently additional security is being laid on to make sure unhappy customers do not try to help themselves.  Also transports are being guarded and decoy trucks are being utilized in some areas.
One would think they were moving gold...

LOL..  Maybe a snap lock bag would add to the safety,  but not so good for readability.

No that is a good idea. I read on a Kindle forum that it can be done.  I just wouldn't plunge it in the pool but it would  give some protection if you dropped your Kindle  while reaching for the wine.

Might try that. Good one Rosie!
