Lovely books Maddy, where do you put them all?  Would love to buy some new cookbooks but have decided to revisit the ones I already have.  Some of them I haven't picked up in years.

Did you preorder the new new iPad Gert? Let us know what it's like when you get it. I have the first iPad and would love to upgrade to the iPad 3 is worth it.

I'll get to see one of the new iPad 3 Saturday morning.  From local TV news, that showed it in a long segment today, it looks to have much higher resolution, more memory and faster response time.

I just bought another ipad2 for the surprise bday girl this weekend.. No sign of ipad 3 yet in france and in any case our budget just reached the price of he ipad2 here (much cheaper in oz :(( ). Also lots of birthday stuff from deco and foodstuffs and decorated a guestbook type book which was blank in place of a card for everyone to comment in... Not to mention all the cooking.. Will post some goodies after the party 😊

I have always loved iPhone and iPad but after reading Steve jobs biography I am full of admiration for his innovative way of thinking about products. I am by no means a techie, but I would strongly recommend the book. Very interesting.

i"ll be interested to hear what you all think of the new iPad. I bought 1 and 2 on the day of release but the new version doesn't hold much interest for me. In Australia we won't get the benefit of the higher speed because it can't run on our 4G network and I rarely use the camera on the iPad 2 but the better resolution would be nice. I'm about to buy another iPad 2 because I only got the 16GB and with the amount of travel I do for work I love to have movies and television series to watch no matter where I end up but find most of my 16GB filled with photos and apps. If I can get the new iPad for the same price of an iPad 2 I'll go with it otherwise looks like I'll stick with the 2, but would love to hear others comments.
