Welcome. I 'think' I know exactly where Yungaburra is, that's the place I would have gone over to from Atherton, am I correct? If so I loved it up there, so beautiful.

Good luck with getting the demo and purshasing your Thermomix.

Hi Robyn, welcome to the forum.  Love FNQ!  Sounds like you don't need convincing to buy your TMX - roll on demo.

How lovely Robyn. I live in Cairns and wish I could get up to those wonderful Yungaburra  markets more often.

Gee I miss the road side stalls we had were I grew up  :( I would buy so much from them now as it is all generally vine / tree ripened fruit and veg. Can't get much better than that!  :)

I know what you mean Kathryn.  The tastes are just so different when compared to the cold store fruit and veg.

It does pay to have a good look around your local area though.  After I'd whinged so many times about how hard it is to find organic produce around here a friend informed me that there is a shop at a local organic farm about 5 minutes drive from my house.  They sell what they grow at reasonable prices and stock a few other essential organic items also (olive oil, oats, pasta, chocolate etc). Didn't I feel like a goose!!!  :-)) :-)) :-))

P.S - I also just found out that my other fruit and veg store is now stocking non homogenised milk and 2L cream (45% cream) sourced from a local farm.  No more complaining from me!!!
