Hi from Mackay
« on: March 30, 2014, 10:00:33 am »
Hello all, I hail from Mackay. Am a new owner of the 31 and have had my thermy for nearly a week. Love all foods but so far I am baking breads and pastries with divine results after getting a few recipes from the forum. I am about to make haloumi overnight to grill with tomatoes for breakfast. Here is hoping all goes wellxxxx

Hi and welcome to the forum thermolicious. I believe you have a blog, please do tell us about it - it's quite OK to put a link to it in your signature line on your profile page.

Welcome to the forum thermolicious. Bread and yeast products are some of my favourite things to make using the thermomix.

Thanks everyone. I do believe there is another member called Thermolicious, therefore i used hash tags to call myself #thermolicious# So i am a different person and i don't have a blog, even though i wish i did, hopefully the name is not copywrite!. Oops should have thought about my user name so apologies but i have hash tags on my username. Yes i will let you know how the haloumi goes. Tonight i made Langos (hungarian pancakes with sour cream and cheese) and a portugese bread which is on this forum and was fantastic. No complaints really, I'm thinking of becoming a consultant lol!

Sorry about that, perhaps it would be better to change your forum name so as to be completely different from the other Thermolicious.

It's very easy, just click on your name in any of your postings.  This will take you into your profile.  Click on 'Account related settings', change your name then scroll down to the bottom and click on 'change profile'.

Also might I add Judy that long complicated names with symbols are a pain in the butt when trying to reply politely. It is a matter of typing something simple.

#thermolicious# it is a pain in the butt on an iPad to change keyboards  so choose a name we can type easily. We certainly want your input and  I really really want your recipe for Haloumi  using the Thermomix to make it. Hope it turns out ok and even if it doesn't I would love to know how  you tried. ;D ;D

You will see from some long names that we , like most Aussies  , will shorten it anyway and give you a knickname. LOL!
