A mad dash home to go out for girls lunch ! Home 20 mins ! I managed to unpack car put wet washing on line put another load on , feed chooks , tidy up the kitchen a bit and change also water pot plants at front door . Lucky I was picked up ! Lovely time catching up and a bonus seeing a friends garden that was like the most beautiful oasis of micro climates . Home late to feeling rather tiered . 5 mins rest then created dinner to take to paddock! Men home at 4.30am harvesting! I didn’t sleep well as kept waiting for them to be home .

Just catching up and thanking everyone for your kind messages about DD party . Yes we all had a great time and lots of great feed back .
Have a podiatrist appointment this morning for my never going away wart or whatever on the edge of my heal . It’s now painful and after various treatments , dry ice ?, needling and fish oil application . I’m not sure what is next . But on a fun note DD and I went a a big walk and stopped at a wine bar for a Chardonnay and nibble , then more walking . Home for salads for dinner . Nice to do something different. DD had no winter this year and a very hot summer ( studying in Italy) now DD is cold a lot of the time .!

DS is at home with DH , boys batching for awhile . DS made my prawn pasta , it’s a skinny mixers prawn saganaki and add to cooked pasta . Few phone calls to find the ingredients and how to thaw prawns ! Photo proof after . DD and I had salads girl batching is very slimming .

DD had her party on the weekend and it was a great success. Lots of lovely friends and family . It was great to meet her uni friends and Prato (Italy uni cohort ) group. All her work for the night , like signs designed by her looked fabulous. There was a guest book with Polaroid cameras , they took photos and put into the book with a message . Photo boards of all her life , making sure everyone that was there was in it mostly. The cake was amazing , looked beautiful and was actually delicious, cutting a heart shaped double layer with lots of buttercream icing proved to be a tab messy but fine . We all had a heart night and not too late for us . DD and a few friends went out after . The food was great a grazing table and canapés . Little crispy samosas, and mushroom risotto balls , chicken and bow buns , vegetarian rice paper rolls , French fries , bruschetta and sliders . They are the lot . Sunday was a slow start . We had a late breakfast of croissants . The boys eventually went home . It’s becoming a special time when we are together just no other distractions. Not much to eat that day as we were all full . DD and did a day of liking at shops a little bit of shopping, Dentist for DD . Visited my DN . DD cooked pasta for dinner .

Thank you everyone it’s a little overwhelming this bed looking . DD is doing all the prep work for her 21st this weekend, thankfully it’s starting to pull together. DD is also starting her job , internship tomorrow very exciting . GF dropped a small PA system to use on weekend , straight into my boot for the trip . I’ve been unwell all week now DH is under the weather. Hopefully DS will miss out , fingers crossed . Leaving the men to fend for themselves few days . Might have to fit some sale shopping in . Didn’t eat much today each time I do it makes me feel sick after .

Spent the day on the phone looking at beds that come in a box !! Anyone done this and any help welcome.

Pork loin chops with sliced sauté apples. Steamed cabbage carrot beans snow peas and baby potatoes . I always cook the apple in the pan first then put to side of pan add the pork chops .
