Hi I'm Rach a busy mum of 3 boys (6 1/2, 5 and 2 1/2) from Vic, Aust
I've just ordered my thermomix (should have it in around a week)
after seeing it in action at a demo about a mth or so ago
I will be having my demo soon...
I cant wait...
I'm already looking on the web for recipes to cook ;D
and to work out what to buy when I go food shopping in prep for its arrival ??? (any tips would be great)
the only thing I'm worried about its I've recently lost weight
and that being able to make yummy food so easily will blow all my hard work :P
so I must look out for healthy low cal recipes

A very warm welcome to the forum, 3bB!! Congratulations on your new TMX! I think you'll find that the best partner for you both is this forum!! Loads of all sorts of recipes and suggestions - and help is always at hand!! There is no such thing as a "silly" question on here - and you'd be surprised at just how many others benefit from the answers . .!! We look forward to hearing how you're doing . .!! :D

Hi and welcome to the forum 3boysblue, you will love having your own TM.
And we have all covered on this forum, from recipes, hints and tips, low fat versions of recipes, chit chat on anything, cleaning and even a weight loss challenge if you find the temptation of all the yummy food you make too much. I can truely say that if all I ate was what I made in the TM then I would have no problem with weight at all. It's the other brought junk that made me put on weight. Now I have changed my ways the weight is dropping off.
All I can suggest is stay strong :D
Happy cooking with your new TM :)

Hi 3boysblue, welcome to the forum. It's an exciting time waiting for delivery of your TMX and browsing this forum is a good way to spend that time. There is so much on here to read and so much to learn from our very knowledgeable members. We have a diet (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=17.0) section but you will probably go crazy for a while whilst you try out all sorts of things. Things level off after a while though and you will learn to cut down on fattening foods and concentrate on a good healthy diet. A lot of our all-in-one meals (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?board=54.0) are pretty healthy, have a look at them too. Just stay away from cakes and desserts and you will be fine ;)

Wow Rach, you sure sound like you are off to a flying start - great! :)

Hi 3boysblue so many recipes to choose from that you will find it difficult to chose.
I have to say that in the first few weeks of me having my TMX I gained weight but that was due to making lots of yummy desserts that I didnt make before. Still making them for my married daughters but not keeping any here to test my willpower !!!
Good luck ;D
