Hi Mandi
We had photovoltaics put on our roof for the same reason as you mentioned i.e. saving in electricity and now we're expecting our first bill from Aurora. We decided to go with a Tassie company for many reasons. If you want any info please email me :)

Thanks Desi, I'm looking forward to getting them. Going to be around 3 months before they are on our roof. We went with a bigger system to suit our big family.

We are on the road to Adelaide for the weekend. So no cooking for me for a couple of days then on Monday morning DH flies to Perth for work for a few days so will only be making simple things for me. By the time he gets back I'll be hanging out to cook a good meal. 😄

Dede we put solar on our roof just over 12 months ago. It is wonderful here. We have a 3kw system and it more than covers what we use, in fact we put quite a bit back into the grid that we get paid for. Let me know if you have any queries. We bought from Solar Gain and have been pleased with everything from installation on.

On the train home from work atm - a few hours early because got a call from school to pick DD up, says she feels sick. Methinks she just didn't want to go to after school care w/out her sister who has a playdate. Not that I mind, get to start the weekend early!

That's great Cookie, we are getting a 3.42kw system (expandable to 5kw)

Today I've done nothing, and my god I've enjoyed it!

Friday is my day off work and I'm normally up early doing a thousand things.  Today (for possibly the first time since I was a teenager) I've slept in to 11am.  Since I got up I've done hardly anything  :)

I do have to go and cook dinner now though and pretend to be busy when my DH gets home from work  ;D

Yes we do Mandi - not that I think you ever get a day to do nothing  ;D

Its it Michelle, but I'm still getting used to saying my husband and being a Mrs!  My DH made me smile yesterday as he told me it makes him feel really proud everytime he gets to say "my wife"  :)
