Bought (Herefordshire) pasties and runner beans from garden cooked in the living room!

Do you live in Herefordshire, DJ? That's where I grew up, such a beautiful area. We were there last year and went to a market that was showcasing local produce as part of the jubilee celebrations. We had locally made pork pies and sausages which were so tasty, succulent fresh strawberries and ice cream, and also some locally made black currant liqueur, which was divine!

As he passes by my desk, DH often looks over my shoulder while I am admiring pictures of everyone's culinary triumphs on the forum ;D
I can't remember him making a comment until he spotted  BeezeeBee's Nando chicken yesterday. "That looks great" he said. I couldn't decide whether to laugh or swat him  :-))

Very slack tonight. Fish and chips. But we do have a huge drive ahead of us. So we can be slack the night we leave.

True Kimmy. My Dad always said he wouldn't eat quiche but he did eat egg and bacon pie. I love the old fashioned egg and bacon pie that has whole eggs in it and large pieces of bacon.
