So we start at Unis place, jump over to Amy's for roast chicken, then to Maddy's place for Chicken stroganoff :)

I made the thin and crispy pizza dough from this forum, chopped half of my toppings and then turned the oven on. Then nothing. My oven is dead. The clock works, but that's all. Sob sob...
It has been playing up - I would set it at 180C and the thermometer I placed in the oven would be at it's absolute maximum. Other times it would be behaving itself and the thermometer would agree with the temperature setting. Uh! I can't cope without an oven for long.
Luckily I have terrific neighbours and I was able to cook the pizzas in their oven. They were so crispy and yummy- I will definitely be making this again ( if I can get my oven fixed). I let the kids choose their own toppings and made one for myself with caramelised garlic paste, red onion, rosemary, pink sea salt and thinly sliced potato.
Oh no ES! I use my oven so much more now, would be at a loss if it went on the blink. Hope you get it fixed ASAP

Maddie, that chicken looks lovely but the link's not working for me. Is the recipe on the forum?

Wonder I use the EDC Beef Stroganoff recipe and just use 1 kilo of chicken thighs perfect every time (I don't add mushies as we don't like them)

Thanks Judy.

Stroganoff with no mushrooms - unheard of in our house  ;D I've always used the womens weekly stoganoff recipe and it's a family favourite although only a treat because we only like it made with eye fillet steak. I'll give Chelsea's a go one day as it gets great reviews.

Rump steak and new potatoes tonight. Plus veg.
DH back today and DD arriving a day early and only have 3 steaks. Off for rummage in freezer, I may end up with eggs!

Will think of pudding too. Only 2 lemon puddings left in fridge, maybe DS and I will have for lunch.
Maybe butterscotch self saucing, will let you know what I decide.

Sunny today, 2 days in a row. Unbelievable! Must ride pony too as 3 days heavy rain predicted next.
Plus plant more plants as the new garden is the only thing benefitting from worst rainy summer ever.
Plus some work, ah well every day is busy.

Just some quick toasted sandwiches tonight because I'm going out at 6pm and not getting home until 9pm. At least we have some yummy leftover roast chicken to have in the sandwiches :D

I am now confused and not just by these posts. DH just rung, now not here for dinner, so 3 steaks and 2 puddings will do for tonight.
More time for gardening.

Right am really off to work now.
