Morning all.
Bit late today, have been in garden since early.
Yesterday the Farmers Market was great. I swapped for some tree guards, seeds, chive plants , green coriander, parsley, a dozen fresh eggs and some mini Gladioli bulbs. Also a FM members wife makes jam which she sells, using lemons.  We still have plenty so they asked if they could swap some for a big bag of compost. Very nice when no money is involved and everyone benefits.
Hope everyone is enjoying the Easter Hols as much as us.

We're almost at Ballarat Chookie.  I read out to the  others what you swapped your goodies for - they were most impressed.

We had a lot of laughs at our surprise murder mystery.  My DB was definetly surprised and it was I that committed the crime to my dear old Dad!

Good morning everyone, last day in Ballarat.  Sitting up in bed looking around this room which has been set up as a children's bedroom.  Every cupboard top or book case holds old books, toys, games and there's even an old bicycle in the corner.  The antiques they've collected for this house are amazing and you really feel as if you have gone back in time.  When my grand children came to stay, they would have loved having this room and playing  boardgames of yesteryear with their uncle. The house is over 100 years old (you'd never know it though) and of course has large rooms and a garden full of mainly English trees. The new section which the previous owners had built on fits in so well with the existing house that you wouldn't know it was an extension.

Those of you who went to my DD's in Adelaide for the high tea during our forumfest will now understand how different the two girls tastes in houses  are.

Sounds beautiful Judy. Two very different tastes both perfect in their own way.

Denise I do love the photo. But how could you do that to your Dad? Were you caught easily?

Judy I have a very old bike of mine, but I'm not allowed to bring it into the house. It must be about 61 years old at least.
