Are you using the TMX for any parts of these recipes Gert.  You're cooking up a storm up there lately.

Where I can judy. Of course I have lots of time so some of the short cuts aren't necessary but the recipes are so simple and so tasty with lots of simple sauces. I am quite in love with this book. Nothing complicated and no hard to find ingredients. Just needed some inspiration . Often pork can be quite dry but this pork was really moist and yummy

Your pork looks better than Jamie's Gert.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I live Jaime - I want this book and his 30 min book. A lot of it is for the food processor so I imagine I'll use the tmx a lot with it.

He uses the food processor for slicing the vegetables thin so they cook quickly. That is fine if you really want to cook scalloped potatoes in 15 minutes but  if you need not then a knife will do. But I have found the Thermomix is good  for some things.

I am finding the salads a bit different with the vegetable side dishes inspiring to get me cooking  something different I like instead of boring old DH's request of Sausages mash and peas :-\ :-\ :-\

Neither of us eat sweets so have not even looked at that section. Don't even know if it has puds  actually.

Me too!  I find with new books I make a few things then get sidetracked with another new book and go from there.  Jamie's meals are always tasty and never hard to make.

Loving your dishes Gert.  :)

Hally you can always use the whole chicken using the same ingredients and method but cut up of course. You don't need to actually cook it in 15. I think I might make the ricotta fritters next or the chicken livers. Out to lunch today and DH's is going to Sydney for a couple of days so NO cooking. Yahoo!

There are no recipes I do not like in this book.

Gert, the ones I have cooked we have liked.  Doing the blackened chicken with san fran quuinoa salad. Cp will have a variation.

I did find it quite exopensive cooking from the book from memory.

Have a nice lunch out :)

zebraa, I found this book to be a lot better than the 30 min book. I wonder what is everyone's opinion?

I'm with your DH Gert. I love bangers ( nice ones) and mash and peas.

Blackened Chicken San Fran Quinoa Salad, page 46

Didnt have any mangos or yellow peppers, but still very good.
