Thanks ladies, it is a lovely spot but can be very cold once the winter snow starts.  Good thing there is a wood stove. ;D

Back at our old house again today for more gardening and tidying up.  I will be so glad when the new owners take over this month.

Farmersmarket swap today.  I took SD starter and instructions,  Rosemary and apples.  This is what I got. Didn't have to go to WW.  .

Judy, it is called Warrigal greens or NZ Spinach.  It grows through the summer.  You have to blanch it before you use it.  I made pesto from this lot.  I have also used it for a sweet potato and NZ spinach gratin. It is a bit rubbery and good mashed up in the TMX.

Busy day - DD had netball this morning, then after lunch went shopping for a birthday present for other DD to take to a party tomorrow. My friend dropped her 3 kids over around 4pm, I'm babysitting them until around 2pm tomorrow, yikes! In between did cooking & housework, walked dog etc. Right now I'm holed up in my bedroom while the 5 kids watch a movie before bedtime - I'm knackered! One of my friends kids has aspergers, so I'm just grateful there's been no meltdown yet, touch wood!

Housework, then auskick, more housework, cooking for dinner, tenpin bowling birthday party (thats a walk down memory lane ;) ) dinner, witching hour and now peace and quite (all boys asleep including DH) :D

Sounds familiar!
I took dd to play her first game of lacrosse, bought both kids new shoes, finally caught up with all the washing from our trip away, showered some TLC on the compost heap and prepared the veggie patch for new plantings. I also made a killer hot chilli sauce for DH - couldn't find a recipe so sort of made one up. Roasted the chillies, onions, garlic, tomatoes, and capsicums on the BBQ, and then roasted a chicken for dinner whilst we all watched Beetlejuice together. Kids are now in bed and I've collapsed on the couch. Phew!

You've all been very busy.

Very excited - I'm off to Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and West Elm today. Probably with half the rest of Sydney. I've decided to drive down as it's a long train trip. Just hope the parking will be OK.  :D :D
