Wandering around Costco this morning I came across this.  How many of us hate extension cords (and hoses), maybe this will be the answer to my problems.  Useful I hope for my outside vac, gurney and blower and if it prevents getting the cord in a knot I will be very happy.

It looks like a good buy Judy. I can't wait for Costco to come over here.

I was only thinking the other day that a reel for an electrical cord would be very handy so imagine my surprise when I came across this one girls.  I can now throw out 2 old, long cords, I will enjoy doing that!

I think I might have to have a look at one of those cords too Judy...DH is forever leaving the cord around the place after finishing (or not finishing) jobs :)

Good idea Amber, a pity Fathers’ Day has just gone.  Christmas is coming though!

Today's purchase was most necessary. The other died last Monday and today was the first chance we had to go out and get a new one. We had been making do with a very old one.

Nice cookie.  Did you have a front load machine before?

Yes Judy. I've had front loaders for quite a few years. Once I got used to it taking so long I really liked it.

I've got to look at a new washing machine for our upcoming extension (the extension has been upcoming for approx 18 months now, but, I am told, getting closer at last!) and I really like the Miele brand.  I have always used a top loader and am torn between top and front loading.  As you get used to your machine, Cookie, I would love to hear your feedback on it.

Nice, Cookie.
Marina, l found the front loader took a while to get used to. The most difficult thing was not being able to add things once the cycle had started. I think they do wash better than the top loaders.
