Post by: MangoJam on March 21, 2014, 10:52:17 pm

Hello everyone.  I was wondering if you could tell me if the vegetable stock concentrate recipe in the EDC is the best  one to use ?
I usually use bought stock but would like to make my own.  ???

This (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=196.msg367#msg367) recipe is the one I prefer MangoJam.  It's virtually the same as the one in Full Steam Ahead and My Way of Cooking.
I roast the vegetables in the oven for 40 minutes, didn't need to chop them in step 1 and only cooked the vegies 20 minutes in Step 3.

3 tsps. in a mug of boiling water makes a nice broth in winter - something that is not doable unless the vegies are roasted first.
