Made a batch of ILB choc vanilla cake but didn't check the scales first so they didn't turn out too well (a piece of popcorn had somehow made its way underneath the back corner -  ??? )
After remedying that problem, I made TAT's 'Nigella's choc chip muffins' which turned out great.
:D

I would really like some of those dariole moulds.

There is a hospitality supply shop (open to the public) on the corner of Newcastle St and Palmerston St in Northbridge (WA) that sell dariole moulds at a very reasonable price.

DJ that sounds great and I'm sure it tasted even better  ;D

Working from home again today so cooking the Turkish pide bread and a cobb loaf between phone calls. I figure it doesn't matter if they end up being left to proof a little longer than necessary.

Haven't felt like cooking lately but will have to get back into it.  We are using up soup from the freezer.  I was watching a cooking show cannot remember the name of it but the chef suggested when breaking eggs to crack them on a flat surface rather than on the edge of the bowl.  This way according to him you don't get any shell in with the egg,  I have been trying this and so far it is working.  Maybe just a fluke.  Learn something everyday

Great cooking everyone.

Amy, your meal sounds really tasty.  Sorry to sound like a bit of a dill, but what are bacon bags????

Today I have made Vegetable Soup, CP's Mums Pineapple Cheesecake, Chicken, Bacon & Cheese Sausage Rolls.

Great cooking DJ. Is the agar oven an old style wood oven?

Made some cupcakes and salted caramel sauce.
