These sound and look fabulous. Will be making them tomorrow night for tea.

farfallina, as I was copying the recipe and formatting it in Word, I notice that you use the word 'proceed' and I think you may mean 'process', as in mix at high speed.

Thanks for the wonderful recipes and great photos on your forum!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Yes MJ, sometimes I mean process, other times I mean like "continue/start for x seconds on x speed"
I guess I got the habit of using it from the italian word "procedere"  :)
Thank you for letting me know by the way.  ;)

Farfallina this is really tasty and quite  impressive. We loved it. I plan to make it again quite soon and do it as Chicken Kiev with garlic butter in it. Thank you for the recipe.

What a great idea Cookie.  I love some of those old recipes that I haven't had for years.

We had these tonight and they were YUM! The soft texture was great for my 13 months old twins. I used chicken thigh. Next time I think I will leave out the parmesan, it was a little overpowering for us. Or the chicken mixture would be great for chicken nuggets.
Thanks for a great recipe!

Tried these and they were great, I think I was a bit light on the cheese and next time would add a bit more even if they did leak out.  Like the idea of chicken kiev, may get around to trying it.  :-))

Wow... I get such nice feedback for this one  :o
Happy that everybody enjoys
Surely you can make some modifications as you like
Also 1 of my 6 leaked each time i cooked. With time and experience we will overcome that i guess  ;)

Could you make these at lunch time and keep then in the fridge to cook at dinner time?

Many thanks

I'm sure you could, RubySlippers.
I am going to freeze some of these (cooked) for a quick meal that can be easily heated up in the oven.

You could RubySlippers
Once I cooked the half amount
I left the rest for the next day

I prepared only 3 chicken cordon bleu. I kept the rest of the chicken mixture in the fridge for the next day
I prepared the rest (divided into 6 pieces, put cheese and ham inside....goes on)  just before I cooked them
They were just as good as the first day!

As an alternative to how i prepared, I believe you can prepare all the same day and keep in the fridge all ready. If you will prepare all in advance I could recommend you to cover them with plastic film so they wouldn't stick one another

I hope you enjoy them  ;)
