Chookie, those sushi sandwiches look beautifulll.. My DD1 is very fond of sushi, as we are vegetarian, we have very few options in the shops, would love to try homemade... Chookie, have you used any recipe which you can share?

I made some fruit mince pies, seeded crackers and the Capsicum and Sundried Tomato from the EDC. I also made some Jaffa Chocolates from a recipe of Tenina's. They are in the fridge setting at the moment.

Thermilover, these Sushi sandwiches are an Adam Liew recipe. Check it out as the trick is how you place the rice on the wrapper. You could use any vegetarian filling.
Yesterday made cheese straws as Xmas present for BIL. The cayenne pepper had lost its kick . Fortunately I tasted them before I cooked all . Otherwise a good recipe. Will post if I get a moment.
Baked a rye/ wholemeal/ grain loaf in cast iron pot from cold start.
Bottles 6 bottles of Apples in the microwave.
Made Clean Blueberry jam.( with Chia seeds). Lacking in flavour but not as mentioned seeds as the Raspberry version.  Needs something to give it a kick.

You have been busy Chookie. Would a slug of alcohol help the jam?  I guess it goes against it being good for you. This is the Cranberry Fruit Cake and Seeded carjackers with the Sundried and Capsicum Dip from the EDC.

DD asked me yesterday if I would make the Swedish Ice cream Cake for Christmas dessert (with Raspberry Coulis) to serve with.
I may make it today and get that in the freezer.

The Swedish Ice Cream Cake sounds lovely for Christmas Katj.  We have the traditional pudding here.

Over the past few days I have made 3 batches of shortbread, walnut refigerator cookies, Raspberry Bliss Balls, Christmas fruit balls, several more batches of jams, fruit cake, cookies in a jar and this morning I have dog biscuits in the oven.  I still have a batch of cookies to make and that's it.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

We are all busy cooking up delights at this time of the year, or as Judy has done.......completed hers.
I am in the process of making some mini Christmas puddings/truffleshttp://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=5144.0 and have attempted to coat some icecreams I made from an AA recipe. Later today I hope to decorate some shaped shortbread biscuits.
