5/5 from us. Yum Yum Yum The vegies were so bright in colour and crunchy mmmmm. didn't add the chilli because of the kids and there was chilli in the satay sauce.

It is really hard to find an oyster sauce that doesn't have really terrible additives and preservatives in it. I chose the lesser of the evils. If anyone knows of an oyster sauce brand that is ok I would love to know about it. I will try it with honey and soy combo next time.

We had this with the chicken satay recipe from the fast and easy UK book and some rice - well received by all  ;D
I thought I had found a recipe for Oyster Sauce but when I looked it's for Hoisin Sauce,it's in the cookbook Make it Fast Cook it Slow.If you would like that recipe Meagan I can PM you.

My DH and DS absolutely love the Bombay Aloo page 92.We love the Butter Chicken page 120, Cashew Chicken page 78,Lamb with Mushrooms page 80.I did try the Tarka Dahl on page 82, hum...... the jury is out on that one!I think the recipe needs tweaking because at stage 5 the speed is far too fierce because after 2 minutes I had to slow it right down but it still ended up as liquid mush.l left it overnight and it did thicken up but it was very very tasty.Oh! the Chick Pea Curry page 97 is very good. :)
