Mrs Spanner joins the fun
« on: October 13, 2009, 04:59:08 am »
We have had our thermomix for a couple of months.  I love it - Mr Containergirl (otherwise known on this forum as Spanner) has been a little tardy in his sharing of titbits from the forum which finally provided me with the motivation to join myself.  Cant wait to be part of the sharing of recipes.

Hi there container girl - welcome to the better half of Spanner. Lovely to meet you. Shame on him for keeping our secrets from you and yes, you did the right thing by joining us yourself.  He must be too busy with his demos lately - haven't been hearing much from him at all and his humour is sorely missed.  Have you got any good recipes to share with us, we have plenty to share with you. ;) ;) ;)

Thanks for the welcome.  Mr Containergirl is saved by his sense of humour frequently!  ;D  We have all been a bit sick so that has kept us occupied more than demos.

I do have a few recipes I plan to contribute.   Food is my life.  My flat mates from uni days joke that I couldn't walk to the back fence without packing snacks - of the highest quality of course! - I had a hammock down the back of the yard.

I love experimenting with raw food, real food and I love a bottom of the fridge/store cupboard challenge.   We are lucky that Spanner keeps a good garden with herbs and a few other additions to add the extra life and love to our food.

Will post/share a few recipes soon.  Cheers from 'the palace' (as we dub our humble abode).

Hi Containergirl.  It's lovely to finally meet Spanner's better half.  We have heard a bit about you from him (mostly how wise you are and how he should listen to you more often.  How is that going by the way  ;D )

Hope everyone is feeling better now.

Nice to have you with us, Mrs Spanner.  Give our regards to Mr Containergirl.
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

Lies lies lies .....its all damn lies ..... dont believe any thing that wicked women tells you about me unless it is good ....  oh and by the way if she tells you anything that can be interpreted in one of two ways .... its the good one that you should intrpret it!

 ;D

I would have to say with out a doubt that containergirls would have to be one of the BESTEST bottom of the fridge draw magicians I have ever encounterd.

Ask her about her magnificent choc ice cream .... Oh god it is soooo Yummo!

I have missed being on the forum but have been so very busy at work ..... that is the only time I am allowed on this forum    :P

Well, between Mr & Mrs Spanner we should get some good recipes and lots of laughs.  Please post that delicious ice-cream recipe containergirl. Summer is apparently on it's way although you wouldn't think so in the south of Australia at the moment.

We're actually getting some sunshine. I had almost forgotten what it was like. It is forecast to be 320 later in the week. So watch out Judy it's on its way.
