I met a couple of friends for brunch this morning. Naturally it went past lunch too. They have to go back to school next week.

Hot ,so hot this morning . Went to the local pool late afternoon to meet up with girlfriend , we walked back and forth across the pool for an hour talking . Kids enjoyed catching up with each other . Home for dinner and amazing sunset .

DS and I went to IKEA. I didn’t think I need anything, who was I kidding 😂😂 We had a good look around. We had lunch in their restaurant.

DD has been doing homework for days now , nearly done lucky as tomorrow back to boarding! Spent the day helping DS pack his books etc .

Cleaned out some of my kitchen cupboards. More to do tomorrow.

Cleaning one room at a time. Kitchen living area yesterday and study today.
Employed a gardener to do the heavy work. Will keep my other gardener to do weeding and planting. I do the veggie garden and pick the flowers

You’re using your time wisely Chookie, the house will be sparkling by the time Ral comes home.
Good idea to get a gardener to do the heavy work.
I’ve spent an hour or so outside tidying up the back yard after not doing anything out there for weeks.

Lovely flowers Chookie and Trudy. We only have roses in our garden. I do like to pick them though. My brother has roses but he won't let his wife pick any to bring inside.

I did the ironing this morning as it was cooler.

Picked the first of the dahlia’s. The garden has stood up to the heat rather well. Thankfully! Even managed to pick 2kgs of rhubarb to make strawberry & rhubarb jam for the first time!
