Title: Quirky Cooking giveaway for Australian members only
Post by: judydawn on May 17, 2014, 02:28:02 am: Monika has just delivered 2 copies of Quirky Jo's long awaited book for a giveaway contest. Please read the rules carefully.

1) Limit of 1 entry per person.

2) Only members with a minimum of 50 postings as of 16/5/14 are eligible to enter and the competition is only open to Australian members.

3) To post an entry, please post your name, give yourself a number eg I'm Lucy and I'm No. 1 and tell us which is your favourite Quirky Jo recipe. The numbers must be consecutive, if they do happen to get out of sequence a moderator will change them to comply. You may make other comments but comments can only be made within your entry. Any comment only postings will be deleted as will any entry which does not comply with the rules. Moderators are an exception to this rule.

4) The competition closes at midnight (W.A. time) on the 31st May 2014 and the winners will be drawn by MM as soon as possible thereafter.

I have so many favourites of QJ's firstly the chicken & cashews with satay sauce & rice (except I use tofu) and I use her cashew cream in a lot of recipes as well but everything I have tried of hers has been great - I will be watching this thread with great interest to see what everyone else loves to give me more inspiration.

I see her book has a slight variation of this recipe and its called "Chicken and Macadamias with Coconut Lime Satay Sauce".

Chicken & Cashew with Coconut Satay Sauce (gosh it's popular) is my favourite in terms of the most made, but there are many other lovely things like fruit pizzas, carrot cake, baked beans and never the same curry. There was one there from Judy telling me of my fantastic win. I'm over the moon. While I have been away a couple of friends had asked me if they could get a copy for me but I said I would wait till I got home, so how lucky am I.
