That menu sounds great Chookie and I love the idea of the prawn crackers. G keeps me supplied with avocados from his sister’s tree and I recently found that I can eat wafer crackers which I eat topped with French Brie from Costco.

I’m currently reading a lighthearted book from a friend called The Single Ladies of Jacaranda Retirement Village, it’s so easy to identify with all their problems. I haven’t read books for decades but on our recent cruise and island stay there was plenty of time to do so - I managed to get through 3 books. My daughter has an awesome library from which I can borrow from in the future when time allows.

When I find time I’ll give them a go Chookie, I made several batches years ago but I’ve forgotten what they’re like.

So good to hear you’re almost on your way again cookie and feeling sure this time they’ve fixed the leak. Have fun. K Atie I hope it passes soon so that life can return to normal. Margaret good luck with the diet, maybe still lean towards the softer foods just to get the nutrition you need. Different problem I know but I find it so tiring eating some foods that aren’t soft enough, I need between 500 mls and a litre of water to get some meals down. Enjoy your visitors Chookie, very nice menu you’ve planned. I’ve been thinking of making those delicious Brazilian cheese puffs myself but I’m not sure I could eat them.

Pasties are popular at the moment. I made kidney friendly ones for df then sweet chilli Thai sauce (low in sodium and potassium) to improve the flavour for him - he can’t have tomato sauce.

A bit of a wait Margaret but I’m sure your specialist is conferring with others re your condition and won’t give up until he can help you in some way. You must be losing weight being on this limited diet and to do so much wonderful cooking for your family that you can’t eat is very sad. I agree about the young ones being so tech savvy, it must be great to have no ads.
Sounds like you’re doing OK cookie, the physio chap seems quite positive that the goggles will work.

I agree with you Chookie and I’ve only started to include meat back into my diet recently but it has to be mince - only small quantities at this stage.
