Mine was ordered before my demo, only seen them on the net.... I would never have been able to wait

I am quite interested in this book, I rang my local A & R they don't know of a catalogue till June ( which this book is not in ) and according to the A & R website its also out of print, The one I looked for was callled "Coming Home to Eat" R/R $39.95 Do you have any more details?

Its been off for a while now and the screen has gone back to normal, thanks for the responses, glad to see it has happened to someone else ILB, my husband suggested that there may somehow be water in there but its brand new? After it was back to normal I did give it a quick tilt again and as soon as I turned it back on the screen was a bit wrong again but nowhere as bad as the first time. I will call them tomorrow and see what they have to say, would hate to loose it to be repaired but also hate to have it develop into a bigger problem

My Thermomix is only 3 weeks old, this evening after using it I noticed that there was an ice cube that had dropped behind the machine so I moved it to wipe it up and though that I would turn the machine onto its back and wipe the feet with a damp cloth( as I read to do this ever now and then), now the screen has gone all stupid, there are no errors but it is displaying everything on the screen at the same time ( all the display ) changing to scales etc the display is different but equally unreadable and its kind of flicking all over the place. I would swear that it is like a digital watch that has gotten wet, ( which I can see no possible way how this could have happened ) Has anyone seen this before?

I am sure you may already know,there is software called Recipefox, that I think is part of Firefox Browzer, that will import recipes from web pages etc, ( I don't use it as I use Mastercook software that has a simular feature ) but I have seen it talked about

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but this site doesn't have many of the goods you order in stock ( even though they say they do online) There has been discussion on other forums about them taking orderes not delivering or refunding, I just yesterday got a refund ( not from them but through my credit card company ) for an order placed on Feb 2nd, they don't return calls and I got one email from them saying they are in "discussions with the QLD dept of fair trading " I think they would be best avoided.

We after reading, lusting,  ordering ( unseen ), waiting and recieving I am now converted to the Thermomix world.
Alice ( after the cook/housekeeper in  The Brady Bunch ) arrived at a delivery demo on Friday afternoon, that night she made sorbert ( didn't go over well with the husband but kids loved it), Saturday she started the day with my 13 y.o. making his own porridge. The onto EDC muffins ( not a big hit ) I tried an old family recipe for a boiled fruit cake ( perfect ), orange juice,  then for dinner she made, foccacia bread EDC minestrone ( couldn't fit the pasta in so when without that ) then the biggest hit the EDC Lemon Meringue Pie ( DH husband said my best one ever! )
She has also been busy today with more porridge, Bread rolls, Lentil and walnut patties and Peanut chilli sauce for lunch, she is busy now making Tomato Sauce with the glut of tomatoes from the garden and I am hoping tonight she can cope with mashed Potatoes and steamed veg, Oh I forgot juice again today ...apple, manderine and orange.
And I think I have also finally worked out how to get the lid on first go! So after BIG doubts on Friday night I think she will settle in just fine as the new hired help.
It really is a whole new way of cooking to get used to ( and I am stunned that I have admitted to naming a household appliance so not like me but "themomix" gets a bit long after a while ) and now I think I do know why you all talk of your Thermomix's so fondly!
