I haven't braved the crowds to go shopping, but did just order a themomix lovers kit from superkitchenmachine  ;D
I somehow doubt it will arrive for my birthday (saturday), but happy to know it's on its way.
I think "my husband" (ie I will go shopping myself) will get me salt and pepper mills. If I can face dragging the kids out tomorrow.

I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

That looks interesting Chookie, do you put anything on the potato chips before microwaving them.  I have a similar mandolin ,I felt like some chips this afternoon but don't buy them , I can't stop eating them when I start :-))

AB,  have tried them plain,  with a little salt and someone else with a little chilli.  The chips are 1 mm thick and the tray is a fairly soft plastic/ silicon????  I had to cook them for 5 mins in my old microwave.  I think it was about $30

Shopping yesterday and today.. Today we went down brisbane way.. Got some mac makeup, some clothes from queenspark and table eight, some cookbooks.. Another 4 lol.. Mum said i have an addiction.. :D she has no idea lol , some low heal sandals that were gorgeous... Nearly bought some absolutely stunning heals but the steap had some faulty stitching and they only had one in my size :( the sales lady told me to super glue it down lol .. Ok she can superglue thread on her own shoes im not doing it to mine haha crazy sales lady! .. Oh and some nice chrissy cards that were heavily reduced... Great bargains though .. And also bought mum a bag she was after as the one we bought her for xmas was faulty so took it back for a refund.. Was not impressed.. Better anyway as she got the one she liked... After that i stopped looking .. Too tempting :p

Got a few albums on itunes when i got home...shhhhh

We made it to the shops, and I got the salt & pepper grinders I was after - 20% off.  And also a new mini muffin pan.  ;D

I LOVE the sales :)
....bought three pairs of shoes at half price
....a pair of pants for work (not on sale...but they fitted and they had my size)
....DH lost his wedding band in the sea on Christmas Day so he got a new one (FYI Michael Hill were $130 cheaper in the city than at the coast for the same ring)
....and some cute silicone tea cup moulds from Target for $10 (I've seen them elsewhere for $29.95)
....and groceries
