Hally I always think birthday money and vouchers are for buying things that you don't really need. Just to spoil yourself.

Sounds like you got lots of goodies today. I love getting new things, especially to do with cooking.

After just over 2 years of having new kitchen appliances on hold while our kitchen was being built, I finally went into David Jones today and paid off and arranged delivery of our new Miele oven, rangehood, induction cooktop, steam oven, and coffee maker!  Didnt that make a dent in the bank balance!!   Only a few more weeks and I will have a kitchen again!

The really funny thing is, I have spent most of the afternoon daydreaming about the new kitchen and planning where to put the thermomix - and not thinking much about the other appliances!

Oh wow Karen, after waiting so long the end is near. Will there be enough room for a bed in the new kitchen? Cause I am sure once it's done you won't want to leave it ever lol. Hope it all happens quickly for you now.

You are one very patient lady Karen - when this kitchen is finished it will be totally unbelievable won't it  ;D  Enjoy it, you both deserve it.  :-*

That's not such a funny suggestion Mandi.  When I had my first ever new kitchen in a different house to where we are now, now on number 2, every evening after tea we would sit and just look at it until one night DH asked if we were going to spend the rest of our lives looking at our kitchen  :D :D

Lol Judy. It's amazing the satisfaction we feel when there is something new in our lives that we really enjoy and just want to keep looking at it because it makes us feel good.
I guess it's like having a new baby, you just don't want to take your eyes off them.
