It was absolutely delicious, just like we remembered from when we used to make it! And Judy, I think this cake warrants icecream and cream :-)) ;D

I love cakes with apple in, especially if I can use it for sweets too.

Looks great. I have added this to a long list of baking projects for when the weather cools down. It has been so horrendously hot here that I have not been tempted to add to it by turning on the oven.

All this cake is not good for my hips, but I might just have a small slice for my sweets, I will have to give half of it away tomorrow or I will eat the lot, I put walnuts and a bit of brown sugar on the top and only had two apples but that was enough.
