Spice mix for pumpkin and courgette recipes

Ingredients

50g dessicated coconut
40g sea salt
2 tsp dried garlic
approx. 2 g dried ginger
1 tsp curcuma
1 tsp mild paprika
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp coriander
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 vanilla pod, only the seeds scraped from the centre

Preparation:

Grind all spices on speed 10 for 15 seconds.

Oooh spice mixes!!

Do you think they mean turmeric when they say curcuma?

I think so... but then I Googled it and curcuma is quite a few different things besides.

The recipe doesn't say turmeric too so I will just trust it is that!

Thanks vivacity - sounds like curcuma is tumeric - there are different varities, but ground turmeric sounds correct
