It is difficult at our age cookie. The extra class I’m doing at gym is all about balance and core work so hopefully in time I’ll notice an improvement myself.  We do the eyes closed moves too and I’m hopeless so I completely know where you're coming from.

I hope you’re having a nice run with the weather like we are at the moment but rain is going to spoil everyone’s Easter, especially for outdoor activities, camping etc.

A visit to the doctor yesterday and had our flu shot & 5th covid shot.    DH is not feeling too good today I think he has had a reaction to one of them.  I've not had any reaction at all.

I did the supermarket shopping this morning.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I did my grocery shopping this morning and made a couple of dozen of Chookie’s Hot Cross Buns.

Cookie, I hope you enjoy them.
Today I took the patch off my eye. Everything was blurry. Couldn’t read a thing and everything else was blurry. Appointment with Dr. He said all normal. Bought glasses with 2 1/2 magnification. Can now read. So can now read Forum.
My dear friend has been wonderful. Driving me around. Didn’t get to buy hot X buns. I’ll just have to look at Cookie’s.

Good to hear you can see now Chookie, must have been a bit of a shock when your vision was blurry.  It’s nice to have friends who can help you out when you need it. I guess you’ll be back driving yourself soon.

One of my new neighbours has her elderly mum staying for Easter. This lady sent me a box of jam jars as she no longer cooks. My friend and I have invited them in for afternoon tea. Scones jam and cream. .

That sounds lovely. There is nothing quite like scones, jam and cream.

Yesterday we visited DMIL , she is determined to stay in aged care hostel now . We have to rats test every time to see her. DS set up her tv for iview and Netflix, lets see if that Worksop it’s hooked up to her phone . They have very poor internet . Today DD produced a small suitcase of washing , I saved it all for you to get the marks out ! It’s ok but the wind and sprinkle rain adds its challenges. Meanwhile DS also unpacked his boarding bags ! Parent love . Also Jerry the ever disappearing cat has come home today .. imagine he will be gone again . Too funny as I was putting the washing out he appeared, he looks so like his mum that at first I thought was patting her , they are very Similar .

It has been raining and cold. I love the drying cabinet in this new home. I hang everything on hangers and this seems to be effective. It works best when the heater is on.
Yesterday , the 2 small boys from next door ( 6 and 10 ), came and made bread. One made a plaited loaf and the other a loaf. I made a cheese vegemite slice. They also cleaned up afterwards.

Chookie they will remember that for ever and bonus eating the bread . Loved they cleaned up what a great teacher . The drying cabinet is a game changer for you . Finery got my bent glasses fixed and they replaced the nose pieces on my reading glasses too . DD and I also had dinner out again we walked to wine bar shared plates very yummy. It rained so we got a little wet on returning home .

Added to yesterday’s appointments a bone density test and ultrasound. Had the most beautiful long lunch that meant too late to drive home . So up early and off to Lune for coffee and Harrssia and cream cheese Croissant. Home to straighten the house .

You are certainly undergoing a good check up. It’s a good idea as then you can be sure everything is ok.
