Rals cancer has grown in the last 2 months and hasn’t responded to the drugs which they were hoping would slowdown the growth. All treatment and tests have ceased and he has been assessed for Hospice care. This is a Palliative care program unique to Ballarat. The aim is to keep patients in their own hope for as long as possible. The service is 24 hours and equipment supplied as necessary. All is free and 80% government funded. We are very fortunate to be in Ballarat to be able to use this service and to have so many family and friends looking after us. Ral is amazing and fully aware of all that is going on. He is not in any pain, although they seem to think this will happen. That is about all for now.
