I thought it looked lovely. I intend to get the recipe off the site and have a good look at it.

OK. Who spotted the Thermomix in Masterchef last night??????

It wasn't an easy one, and I didn't see the program last night, but watched online today.

Christine Manfield told me that she had bought a Thermomix & so when I heard she had been on last night I watched intently.

It is at about 5 minutes into the segment and above the bowl.  Also appears before this, but you need to watch !!

Christine Manfield's Thermomix <---- Click on this link or phot below - then on the Video listed as 1/6 - hope that works

Gosh, I can't believe you saw  that Thermomixer!!  I didn't see that at all.  When the Masterchef guys were over here in Perth for the Food & Wine festival ( which I reluctantly did not attend) I had a funny text from my son on the Saturday night.  He said 'Mum,  I am in a small bar in Perth and those doods from Masterchef are here and that French guy you like'.  I replied that I would be there in 10 minutes, which of course was a lie since it was 11.30pm at night and I was in my pjs!  I spoke to him the next day and worked out that they were in the Greenhouse, Perth's latest 'hot' spot and you can probably deduce that the French guy was Manu.  My son said if he wasn't just having a few quiet pints, he probably would have spoken to George about his mad Mum and her Thermomix obsession.  ;D :D

Kezza, that would have been a very interesting conversation.  After seeing George and the TMX at the Good Food show I think you may be much better at using yours than he is.  As Gary said to him 'your apprentices usually do this.'

OK, so who saw the Thermomix in Mark Best's kitchen last night?  I didn't see all the episode, but it was in the background a couple of times.  Did he do a Masterclass with the winners, or is that tonight?

Thermomixer you must have thermomix eyes. I didn't see it. Perhaps I need to stop looking at what is going on and look in the background. Mark Best had some of the contestants for a meal at his restaurant.

Yep, it was far more obvious on last night's show nelleraye with one on each bench. I am wondering what I am going to do at 7.30pm next week too!!  I am sure they will replace with another cooking show pretty quickly.  I think my family will be glad to see the show finish this week  ;D

I've never watched that before but I may this time as there is a guy, Jamie, who works on a pearl farm at Monkey Mia that we've chatted to quite a bit, so I would like to see how he goes.
MJ there is also a lad/man from Nyabing I believe.

I find it very hard to watch that show. It's just not believable how someone can find their perfect "fish" from a very small pond. It is very hard for city girls to go to the country and adapt to living on a farm. I always wonder if a couple end up together, if its only because of the pressure of being on a TV show where a match had to be the outcome.

With Masterchef its amazing to see how far the cooks have come along on the show since the start. A thing I wonder however is if they have a bit of time prior to access internet or cook books? The reason is they come on the show as "good cooks", but by the end of the competition they seem to be able to come up with endless gourmet dishes even from outside of their speciality area.
