Over the past 2 and a half years I have been trialling lots of TM recipes from this forum in my Test Kitchen ;) and these ones have been passed by my food critics :-)) A BIG BIG THANK YOU goes to all the lovely people who have contributed these recipes so we can enjoy them, and love our TM's like crazy. I hope they serve as inspiration, and maybe when you can't decide on what you want to cook you can come here and pick something from the collection. I have made a file of all these recipes and have bound them like in the pic below, which is a very user-friendly format in the kitchen. Where possible I have just printed off page 1, and then the next recipe will be on the back. Where a recipe has 2 pages, the 2nd page is on the back (to save paper and bulk). I would also recommend you read through the recipe and add any tweaks to the side (or a Post It note), and then once you have made it add your own. Making notes on the side helps you also to remember a recipe so don't be too precious about presentation. I also recommend giving a tick to show you tried it, and then a comment - if you didn't like it be honest so you never make it again (if you can't think of a comment, write something unrelated like "John played footy today and they won their match"...it makes for interesting reading later on because its surprising how much you forget and this can sometimes jog your memory about the dish.
Some recipes like the Washing Powder, and Condensed Milk are on the forum halfway down the page and for the sake of being able to see the recipe I would just cut and paste onto a separate sheet.
Enjoy, and I am now working on my second file....
-
Phew and you have linked them all, clever person. It was interesting reading it as some of them I haven't tried.
-
Well done, what an amazing list - this is going to cause all sorts of trouble in our house now as I am going to want to try lots of these recipes and my poor recipe folders are bulging at the seams already - look as if I'll just have to compromise and buy another folder just for you called CP63!
-
What a great list.
I am so chuffed I have made some of these recipes
Thank you:)
Hally
-
Great List CP63. There are recipes on there that I hadn't even looked at before and have now marked to try. Thank you :-* :-*
-
Wow......so many recipes and so little time.................. ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Only a small list then. lol. Well done on linking all of them
-
What a great job CP and such an interesting read. I worked out I have done 51 from your list and have put 18 on my to-do list.
I didn't click on all the links but a couple didn't work for me - sweet corn chicken soup and Pizza with garlic sauce.
Thanks heaps for your input and the time spent to get this list out to us all. :-* :-*
-
My goal us to make one new recipe of your list each week.
What fun :D
Hally
-
Judy we must have posted at the same time
Well done 51, I was so proud I had done a few.
Haly :)
-
Early days for you Hally, I've been around a bit longer - the way you are going with your cooking, it won't take you long to amass large numbers under your belt. :-*
-
Thanks Judy, I will try...
Gotta love cooking, eating and just enjoying it all
Hally :)
-
What a great list CP,really interesting for you to bump many recipes that I had forgotten about. :-*
-
Thank you for providing us with such inspiration CP - I have done quite a few from what we can all now reference as CP list, but not even close to Judy's 51. :) :)
-
Thanks for sharing. i better start cooking again now.
Off to prepare dinner.
Robyn
-
Thanks for the inspiration CreamPuff63 :) Always nice to cook something that other cooks have recommended!
-
I had to go back and count the ones I had done. 57. There are still quite a few recipes that I haven't tried on that list. Just have to get cooking.
-
Its a pleasure to do this as the forum has given me so much enjoyment :-*
-
Thanks CP63 great help.
-
Wow, thanks CP. :)
-
Just brilliant CP63. Well done!!! Many of them are our favourites also. I have a friend who is new to thermomix and she will be delighted when I email her the link to this thread! :)
-
Wow, thank you so much for doing this CP63!
I like your choice or recipes, too. You have just made my life easier.....priceless!!!
Serena
-
Thanks also CP63. It's always great to know a tried & true recipe. Very encouraging! I really need to use my TM a lot more for meals. Just using it as a aid at the moment :-\
-
If I was Gluten Intolerant I would love to give a list also. Let the flood gates open!
-
Thanks CP63, you are a wonder. Think I had better start cooking.
-
yes chookie, you're not on holidays any longer (welcome back by the way)
-
Thank you, a few I'd love to cook on there.
Thanks for taking the time to do this.
-
I have bookmarked this for inspiration CP - what a great effort.
I feel guilty for eating Vietanamese Roast duck for dinner tonight - Mr. T had a well earned break.
TM Chocolate Souffle (from the freezer) just ready - gotta run ;D
-
Thank you for this CP63. Sometimes it seems there are TOO many recipes on the forum!--hard to know where to begin sometimes--so this list provides some valuable guidance! I used it tonight to find my way to Judydawn's fish pie recipe. I will be certainly be referring to this list often as I go about compiling my own list.
-
Cp63 I am really loving this list. I am cooking 2 new recipes per week from this list. So far everything I have tried has worked out well and been delish.
Thanks
;)
Hally
-
Hally have you added your review to these particular recipes? It helps others decide whether to do them or not, especially new comers who may not have seen CP's list. Apart from that, the poster of the recipe always gets a thrill to see her/his recipe being done.
-
No I havet but I will do
Thanks for the heads up
:)
Hally
-
well done hally :-*
-
Wow this is an impressive list!
Marking to work my way through, I have made the $250 cookies, they are now my childrens favourite biscuit and they are so easy to make.
Sharon
-
What a great job CP and such an interesting read. I worked out I have done 51 from your list and have put 18 on my to-do list.
I was just rereading this list and thread today and came across your post JD. I decided to count how many I had tried from CP63's list (thinking it would be about 30). I couldn't believe it but I have tried 51 too JD. What a coincidence! Shows how much we all love forum recipes I guess. ;D
-
This is fantastic!!! Thanks so much for this list. Some great new ideas for me.
(I can't believe you found the time & the inclination to do it! ;) )
Karen
-
I'm so glad everyone likes it, and I will update it in a couple of months time to add some more. Keep rollin out the recipes everyone :D :D :D
-
That's great CP - as some of us have done so many on your list, it means we don't have to make our own list because it would be very much like yours ;D ;D :-* :-*
-
Looking forward to more CP
Hally
-
and don't you worry I have got so much more already ;D but just keep posting your new recipes so I can triall them on unsuspecting family members ha ha ;D ;D
-
Wow, this really IS a great list!! Thanks CreamPuff!! I'm going to have to try more of these...
-
CP, what a wonderful list thanks for updating it. I must remember to keep checking.
-
I am going to purchase a TM from a newbie in WA who is trying to sell to pay for their machine. You will need to deliver to my door, but I don't need any customer support after that basically (unless it is truly warranted).
You need to PM me asap, I will be debiting my credit card next week, and will contact the successful applicant (what else can I say)
I want the half price bowl, and the free mat. If I can also get the Travelling with TM I would be ectatic.
-
That's a novel way to buy a TMX CP - good luck with your purchase. You sound like my DD, 'I am going to buy, this is what I want'. Way to go ;)
-
Dear CP63, I love the look of the Thermomix Christmas Pavlova on your list, but the link is dead. Do you have a current link for it, please? Thank you so much for compiling the list. :)
-
Just scroll down on this (http://thermorecipes.blogspot.com/2010/12/thermomix-goes-social.html) link and you will find it Cecilia.
-
Thanks JD. I tried to fix a couple of non-links and nearly deleted the whole post so I o tip toed away. I was reading the new book "In the Mix" and it says to leave the egg whites in a bowl, uncovered, at room temperature for up to 24 hours. Make sure also your bowl is scrupulously (http://scrupulously) clean.
-
Thanks very much to your both.
-
Oh my, I am totally over whelmed and overawed now. What a huge list of everything I want to try now.
-
Thanks for bumping this topic, great list CP. By now I'm sure the list would be twice as long. I better start cooking ;D
-
Bumping this for newbies.
A great place to start.
H :)
-
Thanks Hally. I want to try out a few more on this list also.
-
I had another look at CPs list and there is lots I have made but still so many I have yet to make. I have many favorites that are not on the list either.
CP do you update this list every now and then ?
-
Yes I bumped it for me too.
Need to try some more, but have done a fair few :)
H :)
-
Looks like the last edit was August last year. Don't know whether or not it was an update though.
There are still many recipes I haven't tried on the list. Will have to refer to this for next weeks meal planning.
-
I think it is CP's intention to make a brand new list No. 2 of her next favourite group of recipes rather than add to the existing one. Right CP?
-
I look at CPs list all the time--I tried several recipes from it over the school holidays. Have started making my own list of thermo faves, including recipe book items. Very excited to hear of the second edition!!
-
Yes, I think a second list might be the way to go. It will be my winter job once things go a bit quieter for me in the office. Its wonderful to hear that people make stuff from the list, and I think its a way for older delicious forum recipes to be noticed and bumped. This is a free e-book for everyone :D
Keep cookin' good lookin' :-*
-
Yes please! A second list would be wonderful - not that I am through the first list yet but am certainly working on it. thank you for putting this together - especially as some days I lack inspiration so I just go and have a quick browse and then I am off and running.
-
Looking forward to list no.2 ;D
H :)
-
Yesterday I sat there and added all the recipes to try to Paprika. Thanks CP you are a gem and I look forward to your next list.
-
Hi CP63 - On behalf of my family I want to "Thank you" for a fantastic list. I printed your list out and put it in my thermie file. If I can't decide what to have for dinner I refer to your list and make from there. Last night we tried Jo's Chicken and cashew - OMG the YUM's kept coming inbetween mouthfuls. Yesterday I also made bubble and squeak with leftovers from corned beef and vegies. I also included the corned beef - after school snacks YUM! Last week I made the Moroccan Lamb & weetbix slice.
Can't wait for your next list! :D
-
Thats great to hear that my list is your standby inspiration :D and am happy the family are approving the recipes as you work your way through them :-*
-
What a great list for newby tmx ers.
-
Thanks for bumping this fruity, I haven't looked at it for a while - there's still lots of dishes on this list I must try.
-
Bumped for newbies like me ;D
-
You all should make then all. Its a great list CP
-
:-* ta
-
I didn't understand what 'bumping' was. I now get it!! Wow CP what an amazing resource. I am going to race thru my 'to-do' list so I can come back and have a good look and a play. Oh me oh my how I love this forum :-*
Moptop
-
Lol mop top.
Agreed.
Hadn't seen this before great thread CP
-
thank you thank you thank you CP
agree - it's a great list and resource for new starters like myself (thanks judydawn for the link)
My "THOR" aka tmx arrives tonight
giddyup
-
Thanks :) it has given me somewhere to start
-
A great list and the recipes are wonderful.
Marie
-
It's great having the recipes all printed out in book form. CP's generous goodie bag contribution at the WA fest was her favourites list all made up into a recipe book for us. I use it all time. Thanks CP. :D
-
So do I Mich ;D
Thanks CP :-*
-
I'm so glad :-* :-* :-* (I use mine all the time too)
-
This should be bumped at least once a week!!!! Lol
-
I did sticky it so that it stays up near the top GF - it's a very valuable posting and deserves to be up there with the other stickied subjects.
-
I hope you didn't copyright it CP. I lent it to a friend and she was so impressed she copied it.
-
I did sticky it so that it stays up near the top GF - it's a very valuable posting and deserves to be up there with the other stickied subjects.
Judy- could you please give me a lesson on how "stickies" work ...??

I think only the moderators can do it GF. We have a special box to click on and it puts the thread up the top amongst the other stickied threads. Normally as you comment on a thread, it would automatically go up to the top of the page but with a certain amount of stickied threads already there, you will find they are a little further down. We sticky threads so they don't get lost but they have to be important ones.
-
Thanks Judy... appreciate that! CP's thread is probably one of the most important threads in my book !! :)
-
ssh, my head is starting to get bigger :D
-
Just don't implode CP, we need you :)
-
Hehehehe ;D ;D
-
Lol
-
Love your list CreamPuff :)
-
Bumping . . . ;D ;D
-
Thank you for a fantastic list tomorrow I am making the pumpkin soup sounds yum
-
Hey CP, I was just wondering whether you will be updating your fabulous list soon? :-*
-
I've got loads more recipes to add Amy...maybe I'll get time between July and September :)
I would like the list to be one big one but the hardest part now is linking as the list is so large. All sorts of dramas occur as you add and there is no 'Save' button so thats why I'm a little hesitant.
-
I hope I didn't sound pushy CP ;D
It would be great to have one big list, sounds like it will be tricky though... :( Could you write it in a separate post and then cut and paste it into the original post?
-
Wooooooow :o thank you! Great recipes!!
-
This is a great list...... thank you for putting it together Cream Puff Thanks for the link Cornish Cream.
-
Wow!! What a list. Can't wait to start trying... Thankyou ☺
-
I've just had a look at your list again after a very long time and had forgotten just how extensive and wonderful it is. Thanks from a longer term forum member for creating it.
-
You're very welcome :-*
-
Made the jam drop bickies yesterday from CP's book. Very simple recipe and they were yummy.
-
This looks like an amazing list. Well Done. I will be sure to try some of these fairly soon.
-
G'day CreamPuff63

Hi CP,
I am new to this forum and have only had my thermi a week. Thankyou for providing such a wonderful list of recipes! It's been a great place for me to start and also a very positive experience having so much success with proven recipes right from the beginning! So far I've made the coconut satay chicken, honey mustard chicken, Moroccan lamb and the fudge cookies and all have been a great success especially after reading through the tweaks too. Very much looking forward to trying more on the list and will be eagerly waiting your new "collection"
Hope to be adding some of my own in the future too! ;D
-
Hi finity and welcome to the forum with your testament to the brilliance of CP and her choices on this list. It proves there is no need to take baby steps when starting out with a new TMX, tried and true recipes like this guarantee success from day 1.
-
Love hearing how my favorites are becoming your faves too x
-
CP did you know how useful this list would become when you did it?
-
No but I feel a bit guilty cos I haven't updated it since, and I have lots more to add :D
-
Wow
Impressive list

thanks very much for your help and yes I am about to buy a Thermomix.
What i was tyring to ask is if the Thermomix is used for everyday food - I make bread each day using the artisan style either in our camp oven on a fire or in the oven at home.
we enjoy all foods but do like grills , as well and was interested to learn and was not intending to be of amusement to some of you.
The price of Thermomix is quite substantial and i would not like to just waste our money after all we are aged pensioners.
We would also like to use our Thermomix in our motor home as well.
Suppose that i have cooked for around sixty years and am looking forward to our Thermomix before Christmas
As the forum seems rather selective i will be happy to just read and search as most questions would have already been asked
Have a nice day
regards
peter

Congratulations on your choice Peterseaford, I'm sure you will love it. It is a different way of cooking and can take a little getting used to but I'm sure you will find it worth the expense after a little while. There are lots on here who use their TMX for the majority of their cooking while others (like me) who use it for some full dishes but for lots of other components. Don't be put off by your first experience on the forum, I think you will find the vast majority of contributors are more than happy to help and will answer any and all questions.
-
How exciting Peter. It would come in very handy in the motor home! We recently went away for a family holiday and only had a motel style room. It didn't matter we took TMX and cooked every night. Our room smelt better than the restaurant. With a bit of practice you will be able to make your own meals and recipes in it.
-
FANTASTIC peterseaford Congrats!
You will wonder how you have not purchased it before? :)
-
Peter you will wonder what you did before a thermy. :)
-
This should probably be bumped once a week. . . . ;D ;D ;D
-
GF, nice to see you are in a bumping mood. ,!
-
:-)) ;D ;D ;D
-
Yes should be bumped more often, a quick look and you would never be stuck on What Do I cook Tonight. Thanks
-
You are doing a great job with all the bumps GF. I try to read every post but am being reminded of lots of great recipes. Thanks. :-*
-
Bumping these tried, tested and totally true favourites from CP for all the newbies with us . . and these can be made in the TM5 :)
-
Wow a fantastic list CP I have some written down & my shopping list ready to go when my TM arrives
-
Bit of a bump for all the newbies.... Tried, tested and true recipes!!! :D
-
I see Naturalmumma has become a guest - did you delete yourself NM or have we had a glitch in the system? Please be assured we have not changed your status and would welcome you again if you care to rejoin the forum.
-
Time for a bump for newbies ;D
-
I love how GF bumps this thread. It is such a valuable TMX resource.
In all my decluttering, I could never ever pass my CP's favourite's book on. I often meal plan from it and it has such sentimental value. ;D
-
Phew! I'm glad it made the cut Mich :) There is such a wealth of recipes in there, I use it constantly too. Its so nice to hear that you have a lot of sentimental value attached to it, that means a lot. Whenever I'm on the forum I always remember that weekend with such fond memories.
-
It was an amazing weekend CP. You were the inspiration for all the following forumfests.

Yes , job very well done CP.
-
How can I ever forget the first forumfest :-)) All packed and ready to fly out the next day but circumstances intervened and the plane left without me :'( I was there in spirit though and hopefully we will return another time to your area CP.
-
Yes Judy, we missed you. All you received was a phone call and the goody bag, thanks to ES.
-
Don't forget the whip around they did to reimburse me for the lost money cookie. It was very thoughtful of everyone to think of me and for Sue to come all the way from her place to mine with the goodie bag. It is typical though of the type of people who have made this forum what it is.
-
You are so correct.
-
I love meeting people from this forum, all over a machine we have in common.. :)
love this list CP.
-
Hello my lovelies, still love you. Life is busy but still think of you fondly xox
-
Hi CP, hope you had a great Christmas!
-
Hi CP. made your cream puffs again . Hope you and lovely family are all well.
