Last night DH cooked cauliflower and chickpea curry with samosas. Good but the cauliflower could have been cooked a bit more.

He's a good cook Michele. A quick zap in the microwave would have fixed the cauli problem.
I had maple & soy glazed salmon with veggies.

Michele , It is very nice to have dinner cooked for you. Samosas take a fair bit of fiddle and these look good.
I am on a campaign to waste as little as possible. So tonight I will cook something to go with the rice I have in the fridge. Maybe prawns in garlic sauce.
I bought some silicon ice cream moulds from AA 's on line shop and am going to make ice cream on sticks. I thought I would make peppermint ones but Ral keep eating the Peppermint Crisps that I bought to put in them.

That's funny Chookie. The moulds look rather good. My mob don't eat homemade icecream at the moment. They prefer mini Drumsticks and Maxibons which DH buys on special. I may look at the moulds for them.

Tonight we are having toasted sandwiches. We are en route to Busselton for the day. DD's new car needs a long high speed run. She is on holidays so I'm sitting in the back seat enjoying the trip. It's a lovely vehicle.

Quiche sounds good. Chookie I'm on a use it up kick as well.
Will have to show Don your lovely compliments re his dinner effort.
It was great to come home after work and not have to think about dinner. I always clean up but DH is a very tidy cook so not much to do there either.

Lucky you Michele. I do all the cooking and most of the cleaning up. I am not complaining as Ral does the ironing and the floors.
Cookie, enjoy your day out. Sounds lovely.

Bought a Pork  hock. I simmered it in water with ginger and am now roasting it. Heaven knows what it will be like but local grocer sells them cooked for $10 a kilo. Mine cost $2.
Better make some fried rice with leftover rice.
