A BIG DOUBLE OUCH for you Judy. You must be getting closer to the end.

I’m feeling a bit tired. Two days of prep and 2 days of visitors.  Loved all of it but showed up how much we have slowed down during ISO. Don’t think the Sciatica has helped.  Appointment with Physio being organised.
We have 2 beautiful sunny days. Now cooling off again. Everything is growing like mad.

Yesterday was so hot 29 last I looked , coolers on and invasion of tiny bugs in the kitchen ! Raining this morning! Yes everything is growing like crazy , DS came home and mowed the lawn and around the house , even a pathway to the cooks . The crops are so tall and the clover hay and rye grass was halfway up the Ute !

It was 37 here yesterday and 16 today!  Yesterday I had the aircon on for a while, today I turned it over to heat as it was cold in the kitchen.  Very overcast and we've had a bit of rain but I hope we get a bit more.

On our morning walk it was so windy that sand was blowing into us, not nice when blowing into our faces, wasn't a pleasant walk at all. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

On a nicer note, my grandson will be staying with us this weekend.  Late Friday afternoon will be meeting our daughter half way between where she lives and us so she can hand him over and will do the same thing on Monday.  He's asked if I can make him pasta carbonara and an apple pie!  God love him.  I recently saw a nice looking recipe of a deep pan apple pie from Sophia so am going to make that one on Friday in readiness  ;D

Nice choices by GS Julie, it’s great when they know what they want to eat.  Enjoy the weekend.

Julie, how nice.  Kids seem to love their Granny‘s food.
Yesterday I had time out.  Did very little and read most of the day.

At one time I was having sewing classes at my house and several girls would come along for a chat and sew.  My 2 eldest GDs called it Good Food Day at Nanna's and would always call in after school to see what there was to eat.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.
