That was a great summary Chookie - I think my favourite were the rolls, I don't think I have ever had such a light fluffy roll in my life.

I think that one of Tenina's greatest strength's is that she makes everyone feel like they are her friend who has just dropped in for a coffee.

If you ever get the chance to attend a class you wont be disappointed - I personally can't wait for her next one & next book ( no pressure Tenina!!)

You are right there shanmac, that was definately the impression you get.  I just loved watching the different expressions on her face.

 I think Thermomix is still too unheard of over in UK for it to be worth anyone doing classes. But I did notice in the last email from uk head office they were doing a cooking demo with one of the contestants from uk masterchef (an Italian lady  - which I guess is why she knew 'Bimby').  I wish Tenina would do YouTube episodes. Can you lot over there encourage her to do this - so us lot over here don't feel so left out? Please! Thank you Chookie for the notes - made me feel like I was at the class.

 l want to go to one of her classes next time l am in perth

I attended Tenina's cooking class today at Frankston, it was fabulous, thanks Chookie for noting the tips I had read them before I went and was glad not to have to write them down, didn't want to miss a second of what was going on.  The only thing missing was a glass of wine to go with the food.   :-)).  Had a great time and would definitely go to any others that come around.

Last night I went to Tenina's cooking class at Chirnside Park and really enjoyed myself.  It was such a fun night where I picked lots of tips (thanks Chookie for writing them down) and sampled some amazingly tasty food.  My favourites were the stuffed peppers and Pecan Dacquoise.  The kitchen where the class was held was very well equipped and had a mirrors over the demonstration bench so we could see very clearly what was going on inside the bowl.  Recommended.

I thought the same thing Brenda but didn't want to say anything in case people thought I had a problem  :-))  I daresay most of the places the demos are held are not licensed for alcohol consumption.

I've never been to one of Tenina's classes. When she is next back in Perth I will have to make the effort to attend one. I think I need to drag DD along as well. She has never even been to a demo. Since she got her machine for Christmass the only one she has seen seen cooking with one is me. 

She has been slow to get into using it but has steadily been building up her confidence.  She is not much of a cook and I hope that the TM is going to help her develop her abilities.

Same here Dan. I can't wait until there's one in Perth. I hate going to Perth, but I'll do it, just to go to Tenina's class!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

MJ I was looking at Tenina's website earlier and it looks like there are 2 classes in Albany on 29 March.  That might be easier for you than Perth.  It is too far for me to go after work and I would need to book a hotel room.
