Marina, we put a small piece of wood across the bottom of the door so they can’t kick it out.
Cold and wet today.

Cookie, I feel for you with your cold days, especially when you are not used to them. RAL has been making the Chooks hot mash to keep them warm.  Our mornings have been about 0.
This should probably go in the shopping thread but I’m here so will pop it here.  Bought 10 small drip trays for the Weber Q.  They fit perfectly in the AF.   Also a baking dish for Weber with a detachable handle.

I will have to check for the drip trays Chookie. I think it was about 0.2 this morning. We’ve had the heater on more than ever. 😀😀🥶🥶

Hell, Marina, what a job.
Still very cold and running heater all day.  Not much sun on the panels to compensate.

It's very noisy here at the moment.  We are having our roof resealed and the workers are up there washing it down and have placed their generator outside my kitchen.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

That would be rather loud Mab. Our neighbours are having a patio built that is right on our fence. The men are building it today. The noisiest thing is their radio.

Think I would prefer the building noise to the 2 cats that were fighting outside our bedroom window at 5 am this morning.

I hate it when cats wake you up. Our neighbour at the back bought a small dog a while back. It’s yapping is the right frequency to drive me mad. I have been meaning to go round and ask about it nicely, however after chatting to another neighbour I think he may have been round. It seems to have stopped yapping.

I love dogs and cats, but absolutely hate hearing fighting and continuous yipping and yapping - owners should be able to take some control over their dogs' barking and keep their cats inside at night ... but there are so many feral cats that there is probably no way to control their fighting.

Cats are supposed to be kept inside at night. That doesn’t seen to happen here. I have had to move the cushions  from our outdoor furniture as a cat was putting its dirty paws on them.
Max 10 today. A little rain.
