It's Waitangi Day here (public holiday) so not done too much. Been to a kid's birthday party at the swimming pool, tidied DS's bookshelf, made a slice for a meeting tonight, and cheesy marmite scrolls for tomorrow's lunches, and that's all!

Fingers crossed for you, Amy!

Well those 3 hours just flew by - did everything on my list except the prawns but I did pick up some meat bargains at Gawler River Meat and I put the nursery voucher towards a Citrus Splitzer which is a double grafted mandarin/orange tree.

It is amazing just how fast those clock hands can whizz around, Judy. Be very interested to hear how your "double citrus" tree goes.  If you're growing citrus you certainly need a couple of chooks in the backyard (fertiliser) ;)

I've never grown citrus or any other fruit tree GF so it is going to be a learning curve for me.  Not so sure about having chooks though - you can buy chook fertiliser can't you?

YesJudy.. It's quite readily available and no doubt less trouble to have around in the garden ... Just teasing ... But I must say I do love having our two around...

Didn't know you could drink alcohol on beaches down this way Maddy ;)

Kinder drop off and pick up. Squeezed a 2 hour road trip in between to pick up car part for DH. Think he owes me one.
