Been on the go today and have just stopped.  Off to Foodland early to see if they had my Chicken tenderloins - no but they said just get another packet.  Nice of them  :) Removed the white sinew then froze for our lunch here on the 24th to be coated in CP's seasoning mix.

Set down the strawberry liqueur/conserve mixture which takes 3 days.

Marinated 2 kgs chicken legs, some for the 24th.  Made roasted beetroot dip.  Made Tenina's cheese pastries from FFS up to the baking stage then froze for the 24th.

Happy now as until this morning I was unsure what I was going to have for finger food on the 24th. Woke with a clearer brain and it all just fell into place to go with a spinach dip in a cob loaf which was the only thing I was sure of.  DD is bringing tiny pastry quiches.

Got the window cleaner coming after 4pm - kids and their water balloons  :-))  They were due anyway so what the heck, they had fun.

Smiling ... through gritted/scared/extremely frightened teeth (if that is at all possible  ??? ) as Miss 16 just got her learners today.
Trying to calmly direct her home, without raising my voice (cos I was so darned scared!) and guide her in the rights and wrongs with driving. Plus she's driving my car which has 6000km on the clock.
Is it too early for a restorative flagon of something  :-))
(and I was telling her to breathe...just so I would remember to do it myself!)

What a nice surprise for you Robyn, did she know who you were or did you just get talking?

Nikkit, never too early to start on that flagon but you had better wait until you get home - not a good look to see Mums swigging port out of a flagon  ;D

MF I hope all goes well for your DD.  :)

I went out to breakfast after swim training with my training partners.  They are also my Rottnest Chanel swim team mates. Two of them are moving to other towns over summer.  :(

Then I had to be on a selection panel  interviewing for a school gardener's job. After which I was another panel shortlisting for a a school business manager.  Now I am just cruising until going home time and holidays.  :D :D

Hi.  I am just listening to a mesmerising call to prayer from a nearby loudspeaker.  Have been packing up to move from Chittagong to Dhaka.  Spending Christmas with our DD in Bangladesh.  Looking forward to the train journey.  Apart from the beautiful boating, other forms of transport in this country have been pretty stressful.  I am enjoying cautious local food experiences. Have a good Christmas, forum friends.

Thanks everyone.  :)
Nothing happening as contractions went from rhythmic down to 9 minutes apart and then stopped but now started again but no consistency ??? Maybe false labour? Don't know as mine all went smoothly and quickly

How odd MF ???
