Denise I have never met a van oven that is any good. In fact in this van we specified no oven.
I'm glad the weather has been friendly and the builders have been able to work.

Pouring rain and strong winds here. Some suburbs have had hail, not large though.

Denise, Sophia’s Kitchen has a nice marble cake that you cook in the Varoma. I’ve just done a search, it may be in one of her books, I will have to check.

CC, toasted sandwiches .? Raisin bread?
I made soup for the men who built the raised beds in the veggie garden. It was winter and actually snowed. This was at Cherokee.

Good afternoon everyone.  Another hot one here today.
CC this site has a lot of slices that don't need cooking although they mostly use condensed milk which is not good for the figure. :)  http://bakeplaysmile.com/best-no-bake-slices.  Sorry I can't get the link to work so just type the name in.

We have got another cold, blustery and wet day here. It feels like the middle of winter, not November.

Thanks for that Judy.  I had several goes with no success.  It was probably me doing something wrong.

I didn’t have to do anything Margaret, when I clicked on it to see what the problem was, it just worked!

Good morning everyone.  A nice cool morning here and raining.  We planted 3 tomato plants late yesterday, they are being well watered in.

We are staying at the Swanston which has been renovated up to a Pullman. Much better than it was.  We ask for a room with a walk-in shower, not a shower over a bath. Later in the month we have 3 nights at the Sofitel. Don’t think this particular room has ever been used.
It is quite cool in Melbourne. We will leave before the Cup parade which will go down Swanston street.  We are going to Scott Picketts cafe at Queen Vic Market for Brunch.

Bwaaaaaaaaa! I wanna come too chookie!  The Swanston certainly did need a  lot of renovation to make me stay there ever again. Glad to hear it as it is a great location.
