I hope it settles down Margaret so that you can have more solid food.
I’m having mince stew (very little mince used) on toast tonight. I went out with my family for my GS’s birthday last night and had beer battered Barramundi, coleslaw and even a handful of chips. They had not seen how much more I’m able to eat since doing the cruises and eating at their buffets. They gave me an unexpected round of applause when I finished 😁

You’re very clever to be able to outsmart the TMX Chookie.

Interesting purchase Chookie, are you not happy with the way the TMX chops?

You’ll do OK Chookie, there’s always that driveway at the dealership you can pull into 😉

That’s great Chookie, he’s such a lovely man and men who love their TMX are an asset to any relationship.

Chookie the kids were over earlier this week and it was DD’s birthday so we were able to get our little family together, a rare occurrence. She did a Costco party and I got to test out a few more items, a cauli based pizza and chicken fajitas now on my cooking list. With the help of a bottle of water I even got a small spare rib to go down. Food does interest me now after all this time. Today I made your quiche to share with DF.

It is sad for your DS and family Margaret and I’m sure he’s been frustrated by not being able to maintain their property. I hope they’ve found a comfortable home they’re going to be happy in.

I’ve had to get back into cooking and preparing food since being away, getting low in pre-cooked meals. Made 15 tuna mornay pies, pumpkin soup, batch of porridge to last 3 days and put together a batch of Greek yoghurt with seeds, nuts and topped with pureed pawpaw (they had little pots of this on the breakfast buffet during our recent stay in Cairns). Have just frozen Gert’s Thai Fish Cakes https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=4714.0 (uncooked, for Sat night’s dinner). Love buffet meals as I get to try all sorts of things to find out if I can eat them, gradually increasing my options this way.

Happy birthday Marina, it was so nice of our staff to spoil you on a special birthday. Looking forward to seeing your new recipe regime when you get around to it.

Up at 3.15 am for our flight to Cairns, met Gert for lunch and a catch-up (looking good as usual), going to dinner with my friend’s son and wife tonight. We’ve hit the ground running on this quick 5 day trip.
