I'm guilty of sneaking a slice. It's not 'our'  Amanda  Judy. ;D ;D It was called that in the Delicious magazine it was from.

I made some discard crackers yesterday. They weren't quite dry so I left them in the oven for a while with it turned off. Later I put it on to cook some bread. It wasn't until it got to 200* that I realised I still had the crackers in there. Surprisingly they aren't ruined, just browned and crisp.

It will feel like a new house Mab.
You have a lovely DIL.
I popped down to my little Italian green grocer this morning, hoping to buy some cheap tomatoes, but sadly they didn't have any. I want to make some more passata. Our pizzas taste awful with bought stuff on them. The price of tomatoes is ghastly at the moment. Almost $10/kg. Is it the same over there? I guess it will reduce as the warmer weather arrives.
I then did my grocery shopping.

Marina that is exciting news for you. Something to look forward to.

Hi Robyn, kind of you to pop in and say hi. Do you still have your Hot Mix Pro? I was very disappointed with mine.

I like my soup really thick and DH likes his thinner. We tend to alternate between the two.

DH has been working on a little trailer to put behind the old Ute. I’m not sure there is any reason, other than ‘he can.’

Amanda’s Slice

Preparation
I melted the butter for this and then added all the other ingredients. It made it so easy. I combined them on  ^^. It only took a short while. Next time I may reduce the sugar a bit.

Just I can just imagine that. It would be very emotive especially when you have had loved ones in care. We have been so lucky here. We have had a few periods of 2/3 weeks of no visiting as respiratory infections and Noro virus have been raging. Fortunately MIL doesnít realise when it is only that time period.

That sounds lovely Chookie.
DH has gone helping Ďlittle old ladiesí again this morning. I was going to ring my brother and go out to see him, but Iíve just remembered DD has a delivery coming that must be handed over personally. Oh well another day.
I might make some SD crackers.

Last night we had One Pot Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole. I only made a half quantity and it fed the 3 of us very easily. It was very tasty.

Yum Chookie.
I see you managed to buy the roti machine cookie, that would be a handy little gadget.

No Judy. They don't seem to be sending them to WA. Maybe later. I rolled the roti out by hand.

Tonight we are having a RTE dish of chicken, broccoli and rice.
