Thanks Chookie.
I made a Carrot and Walnut cake. I used Kimmyís recipe from here.   https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=13297.0
We really like this and it is so very easy and tasty.

Cool, stormy weather here today after yesterday being a beautiful spring day. We have rain forecast for the rest of the week.

What a cute bird Chookie. Mab I donít envy you all that emptying and sorting.
We had to buy our Royal show tickets online Judy. They were only releasing 60,000 per day. It seemed quite crowded though and they said they had the 60,000 there.

DD and I went to the Royal Show today. It was quite different to previous years. (Last yearís was cancelled). A lot of things werenít there. We still enjoyed it and DD got to spend some 1-1 time with an eagle. She said it was rather heavy to hold but loved it.

We had leftovers tonight.
We also watched the footy. Itís the first time I have ever watched a game without my team playing. Itís probably because it was here. I quite enjoyed it. All the excitement. Iím pleased Melbourne won too.

It is all grand final hype here at the moment. We laughed that Victoria gets the holiday.  Iím hoping Melbourne win as they havenít for so long. We did think of going but tickets werenít cheap and they sold out to the public in 9 minutes. Weíre going to the Royal Show instead. Possibly not very wise with the danger of Covid but why not live dangerously.

I had my last ultra sound treatment today. I see the doctor Tuesday (we have a public holiday Monday) to see what happens next. I think time should heal it.
From there I popped up to the Westfield and ended up buying another pair of jeans and a t shirt at Suzanne Grae. I like their clothes as they fit me. They even had 30% off today.

If we have a fair amount of leftovers I freeze them. Then I usually use them within the next couple of weeks. DH has a bad habit of wrapping something in a plastic bag and it disappears for ever. 😀😀
Usually D H has the leftovers for lunch the next day.
Tonight we had curry, rice and naan. There is heaps left over so we will have it tomorrow night.

Friends down the road gave us a heap of mandarins the other day. This morning I made a mandarin cake using the whole mandarin. I will be interested to see what it tastes like.

I had a chuckle at that CC. It's best if you can do the uphill walk first, although its not possible in this instance.
I had another appointment at the doctors this morning for ultra sound treatment on my upper back. I had tests etc the other day but the radiologist was lovely and told me that there were no gall stones or kidney stones present. The nurse that did today's ultrasound treatment has an interest in muscles. She said she thinks I have pulled my trapez ????? muscle. She knew exactly where it hurt and when it hurt. I was very impressed. Although I do like my GP I realised that he hadn't examined my back and had sent me for the tests before thinking of more simple things. The joys of over 21.
