I’m trying Chelsea’s Creamy Garlic Risotto on my DF, hopefully I’ll be able to eat some too otherwise it will be turned into soup. Apple crumble for dessert using my last jar of preserved apples I made using Chookie’s microwave method.

Condolences to the family K Atie.

You’re living the good life Chookie and I hope you get the thumbs up from your heart specialist.

Marina I love a good pedicure.

I’ve done new inventories for the 2 freezers, threw out a few items but the drawers are still very full. I must try and get them down before Christmas, easier said than done.

Always good to have a taste tester around Chookie.

Nothing cooked here today but yesterday I made Chelsea’s Tuna Streudel https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=2fmgmjt1f527e40u9bi6bjcbss&topic=2883.0 and CP’s Mum’s Pineapple Cheesecake https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=11122.0. DF loved them both.

Well done Margaret. I don’t need the recipe book but I’m sure if I saw one on display somewhere I wouldn’t be able to help myself.

Had my friend over to do a few garden jobs then he suggested we go to the Virginia Nursery (it’s huge). It was nice to wander around, I didn’t need anything but he bought some plants and one for me as well. After he left I spent 2 hours in the garden doing other jobs but it’s a lovely day here so I enjoyed being out in the sun.

Marina, just found this online, posted in July. Perhaps you could ask HO or your Consultant (if you have one) if they’re able to service yours before the end of 2024. I got in early and had mine done.

‘The Thermomix® TM31 was last manufactured in 2014. In the last couple of years owners have been told that in 2024 production of new parts to the TM31 will cease. That time has now come and production is ending. Australia still has stock of some parts but these are not expected to last long.’

I found some mince stew in the freezer so blitzed it with a can of tomato soup and added some Sustagen, I really enjoyed it - 3 easy meals for me.

It’s dead easy to throw them in the microwave Marina. I cut off the end before cooking (not the top) for easy removal of the corn at the end of cooking.

Having seen Chookie’s garden yes it is very small but she has made excellent use of the available  area. Chookie without a veggie garden would not be a happy chappy!

That’s certainly an easy recipe Marina, what’s it like cold?

Today I made the base for my Chicken and leek pie with filo topping https://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6719.msg88829#msg88829 and will do the topping to take to a friend's place tomorrow. He cannot have spinach so I added a couple of individual packets of green ‘steam fresh’ veggies. For myself I kept back a small ramekin of the pie mixture, mixed it with a cup of Sustagen then heated it up. It was delicious, I must have more meals like this.
