Thanks Faffa & Dede :)
My OH has a $50 prepaid Visa card he's had for months and doesn't know what to use it on. He's giving it to me and I'm going to order this tonight. I knew I wouldn't be able to resist buying it.
-
I want one. Good Mother's Day pressie. Lie H, want to support the native animals.
-
Looks good 😊
-
There are quite a few recipes that I know I am not going to make mainly because some of the ingredients will be too "exotic" for moi. I think I am going to buy it tho cos I want to have a look, and will possibly make a few of the unhealthier things...
-
OK girls, as soon as someone buys the book and does a review I will start a list for links to reviews. Thanks Kathryn for the contents list.
-
JD you are welcome to change the title of this one (and move it) if you want to save yourself some work ... or I guess you could just copy it lol :D :D
-
I'm all for saving the Tasmanian devil. Will be getting in contact with my consultant very soon, to see if she can get me a copy.
It could be my mothers day present to myself. :)

Have copied and posted it in Recipe book reviews Kathryn.
-
I think a couple of my recipes may have made it in. How exciting!!! ;D
-
Faffa, if you have time, would you be able to PM me the TM Worcestershire Sauce recipe please as I don't suppose we will get the book here for sometime?
And well done Chelsea!
Thank you
JB

JB, we have a worcestershire sauce (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=2314.0) recipe on this forum - it's a good one.
Well done Chelsea, which ones?
-
Thanks JD, looks good, so will tackle that when our Lea & Perrins has almost run out. I get the impression that it is a farily thick sauce, so will probably thin it down a bit as suggested :)

I think three of the recipes that I submitted to Fee have been published, but will investigate and report back soon. It was a long time ago when we all sent in our recipes and I can't remember what Fee said at the time. :)

Chelsea how exciting. Which ones
H :)

Congratulations to anyone whose recipes are in the book. Even if I only make one recipe from this book I don't care as it is supporting Tasmanian devils and hopefully we can eradicate the terrible viral disease that they are plagued with. I don't mind paying any amount of money for a great cause as this- the bonus is Fiona is an amazing chef as anyone who has been to Fee and Me knows and I support what she has done wholeheartedly!

Forgot to add that I ordered one today from HO. I'll try to put reviews the forum as soon as I cook from it, especially the gluten free recipes.
-
Yes bought myself mother day present lol, ordered yesterday from HO and just got a message saying its was dispatched today, shouldn't take long as its coming from Perth, so hopefully next week will be busy cooking up a storm, will let you all know how it goes :D
-
As soon as CTG said she had recipes I rang up HO to say I was coming in to pick up a copy.
She has Muesli Slice/Bars, Citrus Mascarpone Flan, Easy Apple Teacake (http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=1227.0), One Bowl Beef & Rice Casserole. Well done Chelsea.
-
Well I must say I cant fault HO on speed, ordered yesterday & arrived today ;D
Havent looked through it yet.

Thanks CP63. I wasn't 100% sure which ones were mine and didn't want to claim other people's recipes as my own. I got invited to the official book launch which was nice. I can't attend because I am taking my class on excursion that day. Ironically we are visiting the Tassie Devils at our local wild life park!!!!
P.S - The one pot beef & rice casserole is my swiss beef recipe from the forum here (or based on it).
-
I wasn't going to buy this book. Those of you that have it do you think it is worth it? Does it compare with Tenina's and Alyce's books. I do love Tassie Devils too.
-
I have this book on order from the consultant - I can't wait for it to arrive, ordered at my varoma demo last friday - one week down and counting... tho I don't know how long I'll have to wait, anyone know?? :)
