Thanks ladies he is with me again today and breathing more normally today

A wet day here so we didn't go out. My plan was to go to the zoo with young GK's but as GS 11 was not at school I couldn't have taken them there even if the weather was fine. Went for lunch at DIL's house as two of my other young GK's don't have any kindly or anything today so the little ones  all had fun.
Planning a cooking day tomorrow but who knows as my plans always seem to change  :(

It mizzled on us this morning!  What a lovely word. We went out to Chadstone Shopping Centre today. Had a lovely walk round and stopped at Wagamama for lunch. It was lovely.
When we came back into the CBD had a coffee and pain killers for the older one of us.  :-\ we had an early snack dinner at the Emporium and walked up to the Athenium library to listen to Karen Slaughter speak. I was a bit peeved as we had been told 6 sharp and then it was 6.35pm. I really enjoyed listening to her but felt that the person asking the questions was a bit FIGJAM. I hope that is not too naughty to say on the forum. I really enjoyed her latest book Cop Town.
We have some lovely raspberries and blueberries to snack on tonight with a small glass of cider to two.

I think we mostly all do that MF, it's more putting things away to give them a clean run with the duster and vacuum cleaner most of the time.

Love that expression Cookie! It is very apt for some people  ;D

Have been and picked up Miss 12 from the airport, she is home from Sri Lanka.  I got there on time to see the sign saying "flight delayed". Not a good feeling with the flight (not Malaysian) coming from Kuala Lumpur! My heart was happy when the sign finally said "landed".

So good to see her, had to go via hubby at work so he could see his girl too, he couldn't wait until tonight!

I have started her washing (overly toxic items have been binned!) she has had a shower, drank "real" water, has been to "my toilet" (they were not good over there apparently) used "beautiful toilet paper" and now after some tears I've sent her off to bed. She hasn't slept properly since 6am yesterday morning!  :o Poor kid.

Hahaha. Glad she is home safe, Nikkit. The things kids take for granted are revealed when they go to less fortunate countries 😄😃

Glad she is back home Nik, bet she appreciates more than ever now that what we consider normal is indeed luxurious after being to other countries ;D
