The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Todays effort is a load of washing, re organized the freezer, vacuumed half the house and some baking. I think that's enough for one day.

Had my hair done today. I still go back to the Central Coast to have it done as I love my hairdresser.
It was a bit of a race to get there. I arrived right on 9am only to be told my appointment was for next Monday. Luckily he fit me in anyways, which was so nice. I don't think I could have held the greys at bay for another week.

DJ I am thrilled that you are beginning to feel better.

I haven't done much today at all. I was out all morning so now have to tidy up after the weekend.

Ha ha ....  ;D Actually we wanted to see Mrs Browns Boys when they were  in Perth but we were in NZ at the time so DH found out they were in Melbourne this weekend so I booked it as this weekend coincided with our friends leaving for the next leg of their australian  trip to Queensland. Worked out well as their flight on Friday was at 7.35am and ours to Melbourne at 8.15am so we all left for the airport together. A lovely surprise and great to be on our own and going home to renovations complete and life back to normal.  :D

Judy I actually asked the waitress if the dessert recipe was in George's Hellinic Republic cookbook which I have. She said she didn't know but would find out. She came  back and said it wasn't but said the pastry chef would be happy to give me the recipe and asked her to invite me into the kitchen. What a lovely young man who explained it step by step and then said that us "women" were without doubt better cooks than anyone in the kitchen as we cook real food and with love!!!

Once in a lifetime happy experience.

MF how exciting to be invited into the chefs kitchen. I'm a Fergie too!

Today I helped out along with my mum in DS classroom. Went into town and had a tea. Then back home for lunch leftovers with the parents and before I knew it I was back at school for pick up! Then took our kids to visit their GG (great grandma) read her some books then home for dinner. During all of that were too many emails and phone calls!

Denise the car we have on the road at the moment is a 1930 Model A Ford, phaeton. The one that is almost completed restoration is a 1930 Ford Model A Tudor and the one that is still in 5000 pieces is a 1928 Ford Model A that was turned into a ute during the war so that the owner could get more rationed petrol.
DH has just completed another Teardrop caravan. This one is to be the major raffle prize at our National Rally in September. I must put some photos of it up as it is quite different to the last one.

Your DH is so talented cookie.  :D
Denise we have had a lovely relaxing weekend here after our friends left. Recharged the batteries and back to normal as from tomorrow. A heavy week with lots of babysitting but I miss the kids and can't wait to see them all.
