Yes, it tastes fine, but it does have a gluey bottom where it sunk into the racks. Need to cook it longer than wheat bread, probably 40 minutes or so next time.

Lol fundj, I have done that before. Just put it in a big pile an pour heaps of icing on top and no one will know any different ;D

It's true you can fix almost everything with icing.  First pic = the cake I made before I discovered the rack in my oven was not put in level.  The second pic = the same cake after I iced it!  (Incidentally, the cake was for afternoon tea for my son and a group of teenagers who had just been hiking through the Alpine National park for 11 days . . . somehow I don't think they cared about what the cake looked like!)

Gotta love icing. It is a cooks sticky tape. Fixes anything.

I often ice cakes for that reason.
