Cookie1 - I threw it all in the bowl and whizzed it together and then put it into the ice-cream machine. Delicious.  I did a double quantity. Chookie we love this. It didn't set rock hard either. I made a double mix and when I put it in the ice-cream machine it really aerated. Thanks.

This sounds great. Can we use any flavor of Yogurt? I will definitely give this a go.

Dede,  you can use any flavour and you can add anything to it. The original recipe said to whip the cream,  but we have tried it both ways and it doesn't make any difference.  I would make it with plain yoghurt first so that you can tell what it is like.

20 minutes isn't that long in an ice-cream maker Uni, keep at it until it thickens.  Both Chookie & Cookie have made it in theirs so it does work.

My icecream maker usually takes round 50 minutes in the summer to get icecream really thick.

I'm going to make some more of this one and add mushed up bananas.

Clever you. My machine is a Sunbeam and I think it is not as brilliant as the Cuisanart ones. But I am happy with it.

I have made this for Bruce's Birthday.  He is sugar free so added sugar substitute and left out honey.  Added 2 teaspoons of vanilla to double mixture. Will serve it with Quick Fix Raspberry and Red wine sauce.

This is a lovely icecream. We haven't had as much icecream since it got cold. I may make some of the Heilala vanilla folks icecream. I think it should be very nice.
