All the best with it GiloKez - enjoy a break if that's what will refresh you - the TMX will still be there when you're ready. I know when I'm tired or busy, all but the most basic cooking (not just the TMX) gets a break.  I have noticed that a few friends who bought TMXs a year or so ago were enthusiastic for a while, but then don't seem to bother as much now with it. I'm so determined that I will get my money's worth out of this machine that I insist on cooking with it! I agree with the others who have commented - having like-minded people here on the forum is good, and also choosing a few favourite recipes that are tasty and easy.

Hope things are going a bit easier Gilokez after all these posts.  Whereabouts do you live?  Maybe one of us is nearby and can give a bit of moral support?

Ok I'm on a mission ladies.
I am going to use this machine everyday this week just like I use to.
Thank you so much for all these helpful replies. I will update:)

You are right maybe I do have a bit going on. It's called up all night with baby and no sleep haha so a tuna salad is just easier.

Ok here goes .......

Xxxxx

Totally understand now, those little cherubs can suck the life out of us  :P  I didn't cook much at all when mine were babies, especially with the one who didn't sleep :(  Look for simple recipes that require very little time and effort.

Yes babies will take our Mojo away for sure. They are demanding little critters aren't they. :)
And just when you think you have a spare moment to make something in the TM, BANG they are calling out for your attention.
Babies are time wasters, you can just watch them for hours.

GiloKez I hope you find a new love of your TM that will stay with you for a long time.
I think just being part of this forum is a huge help with inspirations from other members.
I quiet often read other peoples recipes or review and get a sudden urge to try it as well and report back.

Do you cook just for yourself or for a family?

Maybe starting back at some basics could get you started again. And successful recipes to get back your confidents in the TM.

Dede I cook for hubby as he is useless in the kitchen lol
And now baby so I am the chef in this household.
Thank you I am looking forward to this forum. I just can't believe how talented you all are!

I'm really looking forward to reading how you go. I'm sending lots of cooking vibes over the river to you.

Ok I think I'm back. I'm feeling it again whoo hoo!! Thanks to judys link I just made the most amazing banana cake EVER!!!!

I then just made a tuna avocado dip and some potato croquettes.

I honestly had a great time and this is what I really missed. You ladies are wonderful thank you for helping me find my buzz again.

Some of the threads on here have made me determined to try new things to.

P.s my thermo wasn't in the cupboard but even on the bench it can be forgotten so she's been moved to a more open happy location :) xxx
